Yeh, knowing insurance companies they'll put the prices up again by may!
I'm considering any quote under 2 grand as alright.
I'm still paying 1800 for a saxo!
Takes the piss :p
Glad to see you've still got enthusiasm for your car!

ouch! im paying £600 for the westy 3rd party F+F.
Is that with all your mods declared i take it?

I have enthusiasm for it just no time currently!

Yeh, most of the mods are declared. They don't know about the cam...

It's because i live in a shit area. It's the highest rating for crime on the database.. sucks!
I only have 1 years no claims as well.. due to me cancelling at 8 months etc...

The saxo will probably stay with me for now!

Maybe treat it to some new suspension and brakes along the way :p

oh yeah, i remmeber you telling me about that :P
im moved house but im dreading telling my insurance company where i live now as its a higher crime rating, but as i might be moving again in a few weeks, im holding off.

Yeah? what suspension you thinking? i think i have still got something dented or breaking in my suspension when i hit that dead badger. SO im thinking complete overhaul, discs on the back and some nice new suspension/lower arms, bushes etc for front.

That way i can at least get my TD's on the back as i cant find any fecking spacers! New theyre like £85 + PP! screw that!

Brake wise im sure i can get 283mm now as they will fit under the dynamics for sure!

Yeh go for it :y: I got the 266 calipers, and they're really good.
I think i'll get a new master cylinder, and it needs new discs on the back.. they've started warping :p

With the suspension i've already got really good dampers, just need to get some hard front springs so it's all matched up!
Then it should be more or less finished (and ready to sell :P)

The thing that annoys me, is where i actually live is a really low crime area, but the company wont accept that i live there... It might be worth registering as living there for a year... would save me a bit :p

why do they not believe you? Yeah might be worth it!

I got a bigger MC to go on but never got round to doing it! was meant for the badger lol but 283's are the way forward i think :P fill out the wheel a bit too lol

ooh what master cylinder you got?
They're quite cheap aren't they.. i just don't know which one to buy!

I think i have to be registered as living where i do, but i'm still registered as living with my parents... Not sure how to go abouts doing it though...

Even changing companies i could have saved 400 this year... Maybe next year i'll go with Quinn or someone.. and i can get closer to 1 grand :p

Yeah £400 is a lot of money! or is to me anyway, could buy some nice new suspension parts for that sort of dolllah :P

Adz

Sneakydevil89 16th September 2010 02:43

its not been bad! mixed fortunes with the car!

Exhaust rubbers were something like £18 delivered from Kam. Not bad, do the job!

yeah theyre are some very worrying patches or rust around.
Recently the car has been making some dodgy noises. Think gearbox mght be on way out again :(

Im gunna go check your car now :P

Sneakydevil89 15th October 2010 04:29

Now that is very very tempting....only thing is its a bit too low. My gf lives off a very bumpy track and the suspension would just get ruined as is the case with mine. Shame, when you came over the other day it was a beautiful car!
