Well you made the right move contacting Pug1off, hopefully get it resolved soon. They you can bwarp to work, bwarp to Nandos, bwarp to any particular lady friends, bwarp to the shops, bwarp to the porter potty.. This may last all day... :S

nope no bwarrpp'age lols.

ill make this reply into abit of an update aswell rush :)

so from the top then, i fitted the 3 plug loom and tried starting the car and for some unknown reason the fuel pumps not priming which has happened to me before and the starter motor is firing on the second click of the key rather than the 3rd so i dont think the 3 plug loom likes my single plug ignition barrel woopps.. so now unsure what to do i phoned up pug1off and spoke to matt from there as hes familiar with my engine as he helped build and wire it in for toad, and hes said he can sort it all out and get it running for me it'll cost me £150 + vat ontop and about 3 hours labour but i can wait while he does that, so for £150+vat i think ill have to take him up on that tbh, basicly hes going to cut the 3 plug multi plug on the engine loom and wire it upto a single plug 106 mutli plug so all the wires match up with my interior loom like but i have a few little debts i wanna clear before i get that work done and with christmas coming up, and considering changing jobs etc the rallyes gunna have to take a backwards step for the time being then once thats sorted i can take care of some serious bwarrpp'age.. lols.

so yea thats all i can add really at the moment iv wasted some serious time and some money tbh lately i could of had this back on the road so quick if id have just gone to pug1off in the first place but hey nobody ever does things the easy way.

soon as theres any more progress to come ill update for sure guys with videos and lots and lots of pics

thats it mate the last thing i want to do is rush it, plus tax is up at the end of november and i dont have the spare cash to tax it so im defo not rushing it. iv got alot of time to get this sorted out just it shame its going to sit there for abit. main thing im worried about is causing the engine damage from it just sitting in my car not running for months.

Bickerton 28th October 2010 21:17

Sorn it, save up, get it done right first time

Shame about the non starter. Definitely take pug1off's offer up. What exactly have you wasted money on ? or are you talking non-car related.

i plan to mate although i have just messaged sandy brown aswell to see if he can do the loom conversion for me and what sort of price.

just things trying to get the car working like looms and stuff when i should have just saved up like

unreal106 2nd November 2010 19:03

good plan lea nice to see your doing it properly!

LEE_VTR1 2nd November 2010 20:38

I always try and do things properly mate.

converting the car to complete 3 plug was just a suggested idea I thought I'd try and get sorted out but it was a fail.

received a pm from sandy brown aswell about a new engine loom and I'm looking at £350 and two-three weeks work for one of them. now if work decide to play nice I'll buy a sandy loom just because it's gunna be tidy and he gives a promise I'll have no issues in the future plus his work is well grade A**** so I'll have to see. things are on hold for the time being though.

Simon 2nd November 2010 21:09

I know it's more money than pug1off,
But a sandy loom will just be pure porn.... get it sorted

LEE_VTR1 2nd November 2010 21:14

it's like double pug1off price tbh simon but I do have to agree mate. it all depends on what work do iv been waiting months now for my promised pay rise

davee 2nd November 2010 21:38

just read the thread, amazing job, very subtle up until u look under the bonnet! dont know much abt u, age etc,but i take it ur insurance will take a pricey hike?
