Alex- good times indeed :D

Berg- Gotta love surprises ;)

Raunchz- Cheers man has been a long time coming.

Mikey and 200sxmadz- Thanks! I love working on it, car puts a huge smile on my face and its far from finished.

SNEAKY! ;)- just for you:

As some of you know, my coilpack sensor's wiring snapped on the M1 last sunday. Absolutely gutted as tbh it was my fault for not routing the wire properly after taking off the rocker. But live and learn and all that :p Anywho it's all sorted now as the snow has arrived :n:

Sneaky, the engine cost me around £190 with delivery from a bloke, Ricky sorted the conversion for around £200 and he did an Ace job. I just need a new lower engine mount now and it's sorted.

Update (sorta) a mate of mine works for a car parts shop thing and has a set of smoked angel eyes that he's going to give me so I'll see how they look :y:

I'll have a powerflex engine mount after xmas (as atm I'm not spending money on myself as I really can't afford it, but everything takes time)

Cheers for reading! :y:

S1 Rallye inlet. 4-2-1. Cams and a remap and it will be an amazing sleeper.

shooorn94 19th December 2009 20:45

Seems my plans have just been given away for the next year ;) :P

Really? I had been told on the rallye register that a good setup like that with the ICV tappered in properly and a good cold air feed and a good Map obviously that a setup like that could see over 130bhp.

With regards to the inlet I nearly purchased Lee_VTR's inlet ages ago when doing the conversion. But with all the faffing around it would have taken and with the small amount of funds I had at the time; it seemed a waste of time. Everythings possible though and I prefer alu inlets anyway. Aslong as I put the work in (learning, technically and putting the hours in at work) everything should fall into place. :y:

Yeah. I got told they are worth it.

You need a Saxo Diesel throttle cable because the 1.1/1.4/1.6 ones are too short. And to drill an ICV into it since the S1 Rallye's don't use (this sorts out the idle)

If I was to start again I would have got a 90bhp VTR and done this. Sound amazing when done properly and pull well.

Cheers fella, should have a video from pod next month from the fast show. I tend to drive like my grandma in the winter, just awaiting the summer months as atm it's too wet to get full enjoyment out of this car.

Mate hasn't pulled through, and I was unsure on the angels tbh... thought it may make the front a bit chavvy and less OEM+

Updates... of a sort.

As mentioned above I'm heading to the fast show next month with a few mates and another forum. If you're there be sure to come find me always up for a chat! :y:

As the car will be hitting hopefully a few tracks this year and having two long treks (one scotland as a driving holiday and one down in Newquay for a holiday holiday) it's all building up for reliability and making me more confident in the car.

So... I grabbed something from Bickerton a while back... some 266mm stoppers. Yet to fit as I haven't had time.

I also have a lower engine mount from powerflex on route. (Bought it 28days ago, awaiting delivery)

I'm currently respraying the side vents (interior) anthracite as the silver was offputting and were off my white 1.1 :fcuk:

I'm also sealing the rear arches this next weekend, just to keep things sorted and prevent rust. And whilst the weather is pap I'm limiting my motoring.

This bad boy keeps me going:

I've also got my rev counter to fit.

So in other words expect updates soon ladies and gents.

A picture from last weekend to keep you all amused:

Link here.

Cheers for reading all.
