I decided against the 106 mirrors at this stage anyway so will be sticking with the standards for now. I just wanna get the suspension sorted but no idea what to go for.

Update time :D

been doing a few bits and buying a few bits lately as the rallyes needed some bits to just help it along the way, right then where to start well i brought carbon front door cars from bic (streamline carbon) because my s2 rallye ones really didnt match the GTI leather i had fitted and wanted something abit better look then he posted then up as they had slight pinholing which i wasnt really bothered about as its just a door card not a bonnet or anything and there not even noticeable tbh heres some pics :D





then the car started to miss on cold start and run generally shit so while i was down at demon tweeks the other weekend i brough some Magnecor ignition leads to replace the start shitty ones which improved everything over the car. so in the bin went the started shitty ones and i replaced them with 8.5mm leads :D happy days there too heres some pics all fitted nice and neat.




Last but not least the suspension felt shit so stripped it all down regreased everything and replaced the roller bearings in my compbrake topmounts and thought id get photos in the process, the car feels better now but is still noisy and rattly on the suspension god knows why its quite annoying now.

yea theres awesome mate, at the time bic was only selling the fronts so ill have to buy some rears soon as im leaving full interior in.

carbon is awesome danny, your abit of a carbon whore though.

nah didnt man just cleaned everything up the dampers looked ok tbh bar some dirt mark about 3/4 travel but my springs go coil bound before my dampers will bottom out now because i machined 20mm off them to fit the compbrakes.
