Brembo Fail.

But on another note Brembo's were not fitted yesterday as I will need 5mm spacers to get them under the Turini's as they are huge! but do look the sex ;)

So if anyone has any 5mm spacers I can buy/have please let me know! :y:

When do you reckon they will be on the bodies Wes? take some pictures we need pictures:D i know next year is long time for mine to be ready but i want everything done right:):y: shame about brembo's:( hope you get them fitted soon:y:

Just get some 5mm spacers from Halfords - most of the places do them

I think that's what I'm going to do some universal's will be fine for only 10mm extra track overall... so meh just annoying after I decided to fit both of them before trying them with the wheels :p

Cheers dude! As I've said I really would recommend the Colin Satchell/Sandy Brown set-up it will be interesting to see how they perform as mine will be the first one with this set-up on the silvertop head. :y:

Cheers dude, I'm looking at getting some 2118 speedlines to wrap in either some R888's or Yoko AO48's for track

They are steel

I'd look to get some alloy ones as will be half the weight

Furio-Gaz-Saxo 2nd July 2010 01:38

What throttle bodies are been used, and would they fit straight onto the 1.4?

SaxoMuffin 2nd July 2010 08:40

Wayne/Ross do you how much lower the 'low profile' version of the side mounts are? I can only see length differences,,, I think I may need them even lower :( Stupid seat makes me sit awkward once I have the helmet on :(.....

And the bodies are the GSXR kit from Sandy/Colin they make an inlet manifold to suit the 1.4 but my set are specific to the silver top VTR engine... :y:

Because i have them Wes;):P look in my thread and you will see how low they can go;) i need to get myself a helmet:y:

raunchz 2nd July 2010 11:05

I found with my sidemounts, that the seat rails limited how low I could go - but I've got plenty of room between my head and the roof.

Get some seatrails/a subframe that has seat rails that are low and you'll be fine!
