hi this isnt much of an update but ive done a lot more just havent had time to take photos yet iam in the middle of making the mounts for the engine at the mo so soon it will be fitted. iam 90% this gearbox wont take the power even with the boost controller but ill soon find out lol. if it brakes ill get a cossy box or a mt75.
adam this was the adapter plates i made but they will be made in alloy later on but if they work i might just leave them in because i think the steel will be stronger. and you will never see them anyway. ![]() this was the gearbox bolted to the engine so it all fits now. ![]() |

thanks for all your positive comments so far. adam |
I've just read this from start, I cant believe you've done all that work in so little time.
At least if you aim for next year you will have chance to do a proper trial and error with it and maybe a bit of styling (respray?) Its funny that you bought a v6, a Zetec, a 1.6cvh turbo and a 2.3 before settling on the Audi engine, its all spontaneous! Will it owe you more than £2k complete to convert it? |

hi your right about being spontaneous lol. its all been trial and error i had a rough idea how to do it. but then i had to change my ideas when i went to fit the parts. but now ive done it it will be easyer next time. when i striped the car i sold all the bits and made about 500 pounds. so far ive prob spent about 500 not including the other engines. but ive still got them for other projects. next time iam gonna use a bike engine it would be alot easyer. adam |
then start doing your own kits ;)
