Get some seatrails/a subframe that has seat rails that are low and you'll be fine!

Or get weld in seatrails like mine you can go lower then;) to low and you won't be able to see where your going?:P

A few people make up the subframes and mount the seat rails on the subframe as low as you want - so are effectively the same as weld in ones tbh, but you can bolt them in and out.

Mine cost around £90 a pair and the fit was spot on + the rails are super low

You'll need to see where you're going lol

I'll need sidemounts as I won't be able to drive in the straight up position as a daily drive. I think I'll just buy two steel low mounts, I won't be fancy and get aluminium unneccessary expense at the moment when money needs to be saved for the engine. And then if the low ones are not low enough I'll get some weld in's..... cheers guys :y:

raunchz 2nd July 2010 13:26

What subframes you got?

SaxoMuffin 2nd July 2010 13:28

Standard OMP subframes...

raunchz 2nd July 2010 13:38

these are what I'm running and they are super low. http://www.106owners.co.uk/forums/th...ucket-seats%29

I'm sure you'll be fine with the setup you're going for :)

Get these bodies fitted !!!!!!

They only look like 2mm lower than the omp one lol...

I know I need to get them done but my card was cloned on Wednesday so thats not helping but all the bits should be bought at the end of this month (hopefully) then its just a case of saving up for the fitting/mapping of the OMEX at AtSpeed.

SaxoMuffin 2nd July 2010 19:26

Just re-read what you said that's pretty interesting if they can make it lower... but tbh rather than fork out and them not be the right height I'd rather just settle for weld in rails and i can set them spot on to myself :y:

like it mate especially the turinis... i have the same exhaust and i wud highly recommend a piper 4-1 manifold to compliment it... makes a big difference to power delivery

Weld in seat rails will be exactly the height you want them to be:y: plus you can adjust the height on the sidemounts or adjust the sidemounts so the seat sits closer:y:

Already fitted a SuperSprint 4-2-1 and this does the job perfectly :y:

Updates Galore

if you saw the car at FCS you would see a lot has changed since the last update on this thread. So I finally got my ass in gear after fitting the Brembo's to take pics of everything else which has changed.

**Apologies for the quality of pics I've lost my camera so out came the iPhone :( **

First off is the Superleggero OMP Corsica steering wheel which is pure porn to look at and to hold whilst driving....

Next up is that I have fitted two OMP TRS seats these were done agggesss ago just never updated this....and also started to strip the car (please note I'm not just stripping the rear I will be going all out just dont have time to do it at the moment with work and the engine to take care off)

And of course the Brembo's and some other pics of the car...

Also had to get a new headunit as the old one broke only temporary will be taking it out when the stripping continues....

And of course my legendary sticker...
