12 pages and it's still standard? Worst progress thread everrrrrr....

Good work mate, I just took a hammer to my old mount :D. Over time you will find the dash doesn't rattle all that much at all - it will calm down some.

Toyo Proxy T1R's as said or Eagle F1's for a bit more longevity - at a price.

Sorry mate it was never meant to be a "epic thread" i mean im not sure how far im wanting to go with it. if every tiny mod ive done it probs would of been 1/2 pages.. and im not on that great of wages to splash out like most do on here on fancy bits..

Cheers man. We cut round and bashed a flat head screwdriver down the side and flicked it out. Just waiting on my centre section from Kam so probs Tuesday or Wed i imagine.

No worries, it will slacken up a tad - to be expected. I just picked up a 1.4 xsi box for my vts. My current vts box is fucked, diff bearing is goooone, leaking oil on to the clutch making it slip! :D

I dont mind it. It feels alot different but nice as before i though the engine was having a partehhh in there haha. I dont think i could go all powerflex on all mounts, bit much for a daily to me personally. Id like to stick fresh OE gbox and one under the ECU mount at somepoint. My plastic bit on the boot was vibrating like a beast earlier on :D i was wut!? hahaha. :oops: Gf just facepalmed at me. :cool:

Ahh nightmare! Id probs cry if my gearbox did its rip.

want a dimma grill mate? £20 collected

smoked rear jewels?

tinted glass?, medium rears and light fronts? cheap cheap cheap :p

bytor 8th April 2012 21:50

I'm running the same as you mate, Powerflex lower gearbox mount, and then fresh standards, the one under the battery is hardly worth changing unless its really fucked somehow. I found I the lower mount had so much rock when braking hard for corners.

This is my 4th box!

And jesus! ive not killed one box on any of my cars yet haha. :p

bytor 8th April 2012 23:17

Hello & welcome

logic_guy 24th April 2012 22:55

I would suggest a set of Kuhmo Ku31's. They have had a better write up then Toyo's, their cheaper and they last alot longer. Amazing tire too. in the wet and especially the dry.

How are you finding the lower mount? On a cold start my car rattles its self to pieces. I'm planning to buy the battery and ecu upgraded mount sometime soon.

Cheers as long as they're the same profile ha. :hug:

On a cold start where the cig ashes are meant to go (i have change in there, non smoke u c) rattles like a gooden. when it was first fitted my whole interior rattled. :zainy: i was srs, gf didnt approve either. Its settle down now after few hundred miles.

I think the ECU one will be next at somepoint as it still has a little jerk.

Right i bought Yellow H4 2500k bulbs, standard output i believe off Lamin-x. I fancied a change and seeing no cars whatsoever locally with Yellow bulbs, usual you lads have 1000000k HIDs and whatevers the brightest. I thought id jump on that and try them out, they look great really. Not OTT. Camera exaggerates it slightly as its a shite camera!

If its not to your taste, fair enough i dont do it to suit you's like anything. ;)

All for constructive stuff blah. If you dont like them just say, or as usual leave the thead. :y:

Pics;

Normal lights;

High beam;

Fogs next, poss sticking the tint on the fogs il see. Ordering them this week. Heko wind deflecters at some point.
