Thought I'd have a look at your Saxo, looks nice mate, I like what you done to the rocker cover, what did you use for that? Just sand paper?

Prickle 17th May 2013 16:07

Cheers. I just sanded it down (took ages) then autosol/dill buffer pad and buffed away

Prickle 18th May 2013 19:31

So went out today for NGK Spark Plugs and Petrol filter.. en-route didnt plan on driving through this but it made it. 3/4 of the way my exhaust tip was under the water so it was a little hesistant getting out.. spluttering as you can imagine but it did. It troll faced dervs sat with their bonnets open.

So this job for tommorow as it was raining today heavily.

Oil change
Oil filter
Petrol filter
Spark plugs

No pics of plugs/filter..

And a wash because its annoying me after driving through that flooded road.

Meh i like them. Ideal for when im sitting in when its raining.. i can open the window slightly and not soak myself.

After that will be it for a few weeks. I've got my insurance due start of next month. Paying it all off.

I do fancy a Satchell brace.

Maybeeeeeeeeee new calipers. :fcuk: Other then that not much else.

weve33 18th May 2013 20:41

Prickle 20th May 2013 00:07

I dropped the sump plug in and had to dip my hand in to get it. I wont lie the oil felt good. :fcuk: Looked like chocolate

I photoshop'd some wheels on my car. Same height 40mm. Gah i need new wheels..

Well they can wait. :P

Shes taking ill. She wont hold down her drink. :(

Fuel Pump, relay or w.e. God knows. All i know is the pump doesnt make the noise it should and im not sure why. Hopefully fix it today.

Its annoying because its 15mins away lol in a pensioners housing estate. They said they get no trouble with kids.. i'll see today. :fcuk:

So even the cleaner of the Saxos out there fail guise. ;)

dan-sport 25th May 2013 08:33

Lets hope its the relay mate, when mine did that it was a dead wire from fuse box to pump and i had to rewire it, not too bad though just working out which wires are for the pump took most the time.

Chr15 25th May 2013 08:52

needs lowering

Relay is fine, it clicks when i press the Red button.

It has another pump but refuses to work. All fuses are fine. I have no idea.

Looks like its sleeping there another night.

Back to standard height

bytor 1st June 2013 17:16

Broken down again?

Prickle 1st June 2013 17:19

Again? first time was due to the garage not doing a gearbox mount up.

This time is what my 3 page thread has been about.

Its been parked up there since last Friday. Its only today ive got it home.

Still isnt running

blackie_2k5 1st June 2013 17:43

Ok jonjee

Charge the battery fully
Check you're getting spark to all plugs

Then report back

Prickle 6th June 2013 14:40

So after a Snap on diagnostics it came back as "cylinder 1, 2 injectors" (2 on the battery side)

I've finally sourced 4 good ones from AlexB. If it still doesnt work then it will be the loom! i've tested it with the beep on the Multimeter and all the wires beep from the main plug to the 4 injector plugs so i'll assume its working.

In the mean time i cleaned the TB, ICV as it was pitted as you'd expect. It did idle fine but its a future problem prevented and the car isnt going anywhere anyway so may aswell. Behind the inlet will get a good clean aswell.

No before pics but we all know what they look like dirty

And the bay. :homme:

Injector loom

How my bay is atm. :'(

If all is well it should be back to grafting and annoying the neighbours start of next week! then i can be happy again.

If anyone is wondering why i have the inlet and injector holes covered.. for obvious reasons. :S :zainy:

manta 6th June 2013 15:21

Prickle 6th June 2013 15:26
