Shame to hear the current situation of the car. Didnt realise it had come so far as my activity dropped on Saxp.

Be a shame to sell, the way I look at it. The money you would raise from selling it, and save from not having to fork out for it, is it worth it to you?

If so, do it and never look back. If its not squeezing your finances, then I'd say definitely keep.

I bought a run around along side my Civic, and this works well for me. It costing me a bit more than I would like, but the outcome is worth it. Just my 2p

Hello Sean! hope you're keeping well budeh!

It's difficult when you form attachments to cars. I still have my 206 sitting on my drive and it's been out of action almost a year. Part of it is down to laziness and the other part of me loves it. I know I'll never use it again, yet it stays. I know I should sell it. If you don't miss using it or have any plans for it maybe the boat has sailed. I used to regret selling my Saxo but now I just enjoy the memory.

Hi Rush sorry for missing all the messages first time round!

My mates have all been saying the same to be completely honest with you fella. The problem was that the saxo was always difficult to justify as it was only a toy and could only be used for driving like a loon.

More on this below...

Hi Jamie! Yes I'm well fella, was injured a little while back from rugby but all back up to speed again and enjoying life (also running around like a mad man again) :A: Hope you're well too?

I had the same thoughts from some other mates but I do miss driving it despite the octy giving me many smiles per mile the saxo is just that bit different, alot more raw and basic; nothing drives like this car.

So after much thought and after shopping around for a decent insurance price I got the insurance down to 300-ish all mods declared.

I spoke to a few people and a few people were saying that they'd like to see the car again on the road and some friends even want it at their wedding due to knowing the car for 9 years! :fcuk:

So in the meantime whilst I gather my thoughts, dust off the old guy and get the VTS gearbox fitted... enjoy this sprint session video.

Cheers all!
