Mine got 147 at awsome GTi before the cams and then 162 at chipwizards mate so that seems right to me. Both places have good rep for acurate rollers so Im not taking it with a pinch of salt mate as it seems to be about right. Im proud of the results it got pal. As Wayne said it could be a Wednesday car |

but should always take every dyno with a pinch of salt!! no dyno is acurate to the dot, only way to get a true reading, is to the engine out and rig it up to a full engine dyno. |

Mate good effort, 160 is a very nice figure, could be possiable i got 126.6 with a exhuast and mani which i was more than happy with looking after then engine plays a huge part thats why i get it serviced it every 3k lol. so not only does the car look the sex but now it looks the sex at silly speeds...
|
my point is that all RR should be taken with a pinch of salt!
well just saying that was all, you did say that you wasnt going to. saying that his dyno very acuate which is the wrong statment to say. no dyno is know matter what shit they feed people. they where design to tune cars, so you can do before and after to see gains and loses. did he do a run before he started to see what you gained before and after? |
also if it at that power the standard injectors system will be over working at that, as my car is at 157 bhp and my injectors are at 90% duty which is to high, and that was with a 3.5 bar fpr not the standard vts one.
so i would look at that. |

Oh by the way I would take the 157bhp with a pinch of salt dude ;) |
Im getting the impression of a lot of jealousy in this thread...
car looks nice dude :) |
i ent jeolousy, also people are aloud to comment in other progress threads too, i just stating that the RR results should be taken with a pinch of salt,
i never said mine was true aswell, also that RR figures should be look at too closey, it the way the cuvre is and how the torque cuvres are too! but also that standard injectors and FPR will be working over time to produce that power, mine on a 3.5 bar FPR is at 95% fuel duty, just saying as it will kill the injetors so maybe something you should look at checking too. |
Car looks good mate !!
I wouldn't worry about figures - aslong as it drives nice and pulls smoothly to the limiter then all's good !! What's the limiter set at? Maybe worth thinking about a powerflex rear engine mount? As the engine moved a huge amount off the limiter in the video ! Where you want to go with the car now ? |
mine ran 161.5 at chipwizards and its ran 161 on 2 other dyno's, chipwizards dyno is talked about all over the net as one of the most acurate, wayne knows exactlly what hes doing, he had mine on the rollers for over 2 and a half hours messing about to get the curve correct.
andy, how come your injectors have fuel duty has gone up 5% within 4 posts???? my cars running fine and has been for the last few months and mines ''producing that sort of power'' |
