manc 9th April 2009 10:01

115bhp is'nt a bad result :clapping: Did you get a power graph print out?

Shame about the bottomend thou m8e, you can get low mileage engine for peanuts off ebay if thats any help. :y: Did they perform a 'leak down test' to acertain you had low compression?

I'm very close to popping upto Dynotech myself, was this where you got the mapping done? I want to pop up there to get a power run for my VTS.

Jorge- 9th April 2009 10:52

Dynotech are top guys, definitly take it there. Extremely fair rollers too. I only rolled a 115, same as this VTS now, but he will be mapping mine and is doing the group buy for us.

Cheers mate! it is a shame about bottom end, will prob sort it before the fcs, but focusing on having it looking right first and handling better ;)

Liam_ 15th April 2009 13:02

manc 16th April 2009 21:17

Which linkages did you end up buying from Kamracing? my gear change is very slack/sloppy and I'm considering replacing mine.

ManC

PS: You have too much money!! :)

Doesn't bother me one bit.

New Idle Air Control Valve on.. Shiny ;)

Old Linkages:

New Ones Fitted:

Jorge- 19th April 2009 12:24

Looks good but waht do you gain by using larger discs with smaller callipers except additional un-necessary weight?

evans1089 19th April 2009 12:36

Quickshift Time..
Lower console was removed.. including gaitor.
So, we had to cut off the ball, so we used an auto saw powered by a compresser! Which did the job in seconds lol..

Trial Fitment:

Final Product
;)

They arnt smaller though, they fit the whole of the disc..
They were just advertised wrongly when i bought them.

evans1089 19th April 2009 12:48

Next job was to tackle the splitter idea..
How would you attach the splitter to the bottom bumper without it falling off when the wind blows..?
Our solution.. HOMEMADE BRACKETS! ;)

5 pieces of scrap metal we used to mace 'C' shaped brackets and then bolted them on either side of the bumper and the splitter holding it in place.

Picture of Discs:

Jorge- 19th April 2009 12:54

Sorry but that just looks a mess. A splitter bolts to another splitter?

Peugeot 307 2.0HDI discs and pads, 283mm discs.
linkages are easy, pop them out, fill new ones with grease and pop them back in :y:
