Haha, depends, if it was a minter id just make shure it has leathers, gloss black strips, full pusport exhaust, BMC induction, clean/repaint engine bay.

Otherwise id just go crazy and strip it out, zorst, cams, induction, remap s1 inlet

Lol thanks, after riding in a GTI the other day i was amazed how fast they are but im pretty shure the insurance is way out of my leauge but ill try be optomistic.

I also put new rear bades on my car today and im going to replace the door clips shortly so im staring to refine the car, make it more sellable.

Went down the shitter mate. I did an 'update' dummy quote as if i was starting uni with 1 year ncb and quinn said i have to ring up for a quote. Admiral wated £1700 or something. Even a VTR was £1400. :S Ill obviously try again when insurance is due and im hoping i can get a good quote. But unless i get a job a GTI might not be possile.

Although i was thinking of not reneweing my insurance until christmas as i wont need my car in the 1st term of uni.

Bit of a random update nothing to do with saxo's but oh well. I went down to Cleveland Police traffic unit tonight and the Sgt shown me around the cars and we went for a drive in BMW 3 series D. Was great really enjoyed it, here are some half ass photo's:

This one was at wynyard business park, its the new building. There were 3 skoda octavia undercover cars and the Focus ST in the picture was undercover. Was mint going out in the beemer, he was doin 100mph past evryone lol

I got a VTR centre section it has a silencer on it. The reason id have the seats is if i can get them really cheap. Mabey you can sort me out a zorst mate :P

Should of just got a 1.1 centre section. Can only get u a new one really tbh

cheers anyway mate, but as i say Ben offered me a VTR centre pipe for free so i couldnt refuse his generosity. If there are any 1.1 centre pipes knocking about on the cheap ill take it but ill see what happens.

you could have had mine mate but if anything goes wrong or forsed to switch back always there as an emergancy exhaust

Cheers mate if you do ever fancy going back to standard ill have it off you. Ill do a swap for the spare exhaust i have so then if anything does go wrong you can have a backup.

Fitted a Supersprint backbox today (Cheers wrighty89) along with the VTR centre pipe ive got. And i have to say it sounds absolutly... Terrible =| Im shure its because the VTR centre section has the silencer aswel so im going to get a new straight through centre pipe tommorow and hopefully it will improve it.

Thats a shame to hear mate. Not too good with my exhaust either, apparentely by mike from Toms garage its a bodge job, and getting it re done. Also their is a small hole in the centre section which makes the rasp noise, and im loosing nearely all my fuel in 24 hrs!! So the whole exhaust system is getting checked over and also my radiator cos i suspect a leak from it :wall::wall:

Also im off tomorrow mate, if you want ill come with you to get a centre section. And could you do us a favour, i would like the push engine start in the dash like yours so if its ok could you cut a hole in one of the ports so that i can mount it. Then i will either get a new centre section and put your coin surrounding in it or cover the gap with a rubber grommet like on the de- wiper
