Rimz Inc. still have my car as they also needed to replace the link bars aswell as the front springs, rear dampers and torsion bar.

So will have to wait till tomorrow to pick it up and get some pics! :P

Looking good there! .........................:p:p

benJee_VTR 30th June 2009 16:11

Argh they have failed to remove the torsion bar, so will not be able to lower the rear :(

However, front is lowered, link bars are fitted and rear dampers are on, so not all is bad. Picking the car up at 5:00.

Pics then.

Whiskerzz 30th June 2009 16:42

im sure they could get it out eventually :(
oh well might just need to book it in somewhere else and try them :y:

AndySAXO 30th June 2009 17:53

Ashleyp 30th June 2009 17:54

get that shit lowerd y0

benJee_VTR 30th June 2009 18:18

got it back now, and i'm well chuffed, the diffuser keeps the rear looking low, and the front is decked lol. My mum and dad have gone out with the camera, so ill have to keep ya waiting a little longer :P

Andy, they spent all day today, and yesterday evening trying to remove it lol. Someone's had a go at it before, and cross threaded it, so it wasn't easy getting hold of it. He actually broke one of his slide hammers trying to remove it!

To be fair, they've been a pleasure to deal with.. if there were any problems they let me know, and eventhough it wasted the whole of today, they didnt charge me extra.
Might get Wilsy to have a crack at the torsion bar another day.

Id reccommend RimzInc to anyone :)

Pics this evening

what bit did he hammer? hope it wasnt the arm? as some like he might of been doing it on notchs?

was it going to be done on notchs or the correct way?

on a different note, looking good just need the back end down now!!

andy

Not sure, i think he tried to do the notches way, not removing it. But not sure. How much do KJ styling charge?

Thanks mate, looks better in person than in those pics :) Might put the rear bench back in to lower the rear a bit more..

happy though :)

AndySAXO 1st July 2009 13:26

notches is the incorrect way to be doing it,

also KJ is about 50 quid, and does a good job, and will 99% get un siezed bars out and sorted!!

Andy
