furioAL 24th July 2007 22:46

How's the plate mounted mate? i assume there is no holes so you can take it off for shows etc... tis a shame you have to have one... it ruins the clean look im afraid :( looks sexy at shows though...

Other than the plate... car's looking mint as always :) and i thought you bought some pressed plates at the FCS to put on it?

Ive used 2 brackets which had ot be screwed in to the bumper but you carnt see the holes as there on the underside of the mouth.

Should'nt be too hard to remove for shows.

They was kellys plates for her Polo lol

jaybiss 24th July 2007 22:54

I no stupid cunting law! fooking yanks dont have to have front number plates only we do because of the fooking cash making front facing speed cameras!

Yet bikes dont... explaine that fooker

Skorpion 24th July 2007 23:23

shame u had to put a plate back on it ash!

Cars looking mitey clean though mate!

furioAL 24th July 2007 23:33

Have you considered getting a jap/bike style plate made up... with the first four digits above the next three... as a square plate... then having the plate mounted to the lower side of the bumper... a bit alfa stylie? as it's a shame you have to cover up that central grill of the bumper..

Just something to consider.. not sure if it's legal?

Dont want to drill where you will see it so thats out of the question

furioAL 24th July 2007 23:39

No need... get some custom L shaped mounts made up... attatch it to the torx screw bolts that attach the bottom of the front bumper to the car :y:

mallboy 24th July 2007 23:47

the car looks gorgeous mate, love that front bumper and the rims. as for the plate i agree with a motorbike plate - it will look better
