agree with this - go for the brightest colour possible. you could try a fluorescent colour;)

rushy_23 24th July 2007 09:37

Same color as the calipers Rich, you know it makes sense!

Skorpion 24th July 2007 16:44

Calipers are goind back black rushy! Black wheels will suck! even worse than you do :homme:

rushy_23 24th July 2007 16:54

You got yellow calipers on PG30 you goof!

Skorpion 24th July 2007 16:56

I have got yellow at the moment! But everyone is having yellow calipers now so all due to change!

rushy_23 24th July 2007 17:02

Skorpion 30th July 2007 11:04

She's Fixed

Right as some of you may know Koleen has been off the road over the last week with a suspected knackered driveshaft! Took it to a garage last week and they couldnt get the car onto their ramps. this is my regular garage that I have used since i started driving. also they added they wont be able to MOT test it if they cant get it on the ramps! :n:

Found a local garage wiv a 'pit' so this morning I took Koleen down and the bloke looked underneath checked the driveshafts . . . . no real play in them.

Took it down the road come back :detective:
back over the pit. :omg: got it! whacked one of the wheels off. 2 bolts from the spacer fell out! tightened them all back up. wheel back on, down the road come back.
'there you go mate, all sorted. Oh and your brakes are knackered'

Best part of it all. it was free!!!!!!

Payney 30th July 2007 11:08

Fair play dude, nice to see it was no major thing. ;)

It could have been lol, bloody lucky really the knocking was the spacer/wheel being loose

Skorpion 30th July 2007 16:16

Yeah if i had just carried on with it the spacer would hav come off the hub and it would have been terah wheel!

Just need to check all the other bolts on the other wheels now! Car still managed to get stuck over a pit!! haha!

Hopcraft 30th July 2007 17:25

haha fair enough, yeah im worried about the same things, garage literally 2 miles down the road, great bloke, but when i get my vtr lowered i dont think it will get on the ramps, oh well ill have to wait and see at the time.

oh yeah and back to the wheel thing, if its just for trax then blatenly go for the pink ;) wouldnt have it for more than a wk tho ! ha.

thinking lime green as realised I will actually have to drive locally with the wheels on! People see pink wheels on the car I will never be able to show my face!

Hopcraft 30th July 2007 17:48

haha ! good point !

jpsaxo 30th July 2007 18:36
