don;t think you can change needle lights they are inclosed unit

i got wot he said i put them in and so m any wont work i dont know if i yhave got them in the right way or over heated them or some thing dafft but i sure that led a polarety senitive can some one take a pic ov theres so i can see if mine are facin the right way

you dont need a soldering iron just heat up a screw driver it still melts the solder just takes a bit longer :)

Great guide m8 looks awsome. Anyone in the north east done this? Wanting mine done but would rather get someone that knows what there doing rather than take ages on it myself, also dont have the tools. Pm me If you can or know some one that can do this. I will buy the leds and also pay for you to do it and come to you if local

i know this thread has been made a while ago- but went maplins today and they didnt have the same led lights you got- i gave them the light number and they didnt evan hear of them :S :S :S what size led lights do you need 3mm or 5mm and would anyones do ? thanks

iv just done mine :) a few ups and downs :) led exploded and temp blinded me haha... all done now, looks top... oh and forgot to change the 2 behind the digi screen so i got blie clocks and green screen... fml... bk off soon lol

I've just bought these LED's and got my soldering Iron, gonna give this a try! :) I'm doing the fuel gauge and the one thats on the left white, see how that goes....

REMEMBER: Which way around the led are positioned on the board otherwise wont work i made this mistake and means having to take the led back off

You need an extreme sheady hand and good soldering skills. Best thing i did is buy a second dial incase one messed up i had one to use in the car. You can get in other colours blue is just popular, i beleive white and red

I've done mine!! :D Took chuffing ages to get at the dials, I didn't have the right tool for the big torx screw. I've never really soldered before so an amateur can do this. just don't be frightened and get stuck in :)
