Surely 10mm will bring the wheels out far enough not to catch the strut? Happy birthday anyway mate.

baring in mind there 8" all round on mine, so if you fit 185's to the back there gonna be stretched more on your 8.5's.
Also dont forget the diameter of each set of tyres. Use some tyre calculation software off the internet to figure them out. Think 195's rear & 175's front are very similar as are 185's rear & 165's front. If you struggle to get decent 175's and you mentioned about having the sidewalls look the same id be tempted to just put 185 nakangs on all round!;)
