get some weights. there is a fly machine at my gym and i aways use this. really good for the shoulders and arms.
if your arms are just naturally big and you struggle to get rid of fat from them, then weights will atleast tone them up and make them look alot better and healthier but you've gotta keep on it. dont have to push yourself but just a bit every night will do the trick in time and you'll definitely start to notice a different in the shape within a few weeks. |
im sorry but it really gets to me that everyone is focusing on the arms.... its fat all systems use it regardless of where it is....

no such thing as spot reduction, your just going to have to loose weight, you carnt just loose the fat on ur arms and keep it everywhere else. You can however loose weight as surgested so far in the thread, and also tone up the muscles in your arm, however if you dotn loose much weight they will just get bigger, as youll have more muscle under the fat.
Hiit is intervals of low and high intesity workout, i use it for the majority of my training, 2mins max speed, 2 mins just below normal, for 45 mins. best method way of cutting weight for me, but again it effects everyone differently. |
How long do you go running for? and what do you go running?
Also when do you eat before exercising? Nutrition can determine alot. For example if you have a bottle of lucozade before you go for a run, your body will use the Carb Sugars as a first resort of energy rather than the fat. This is because the sugars are easier to break down. Hence you can run for 30minutes and not burn much fat. Fat can't be just burnt off in one place at a time unfortunately, however you can tone the muslce which helps give that defined look. Suggestion Do a light workout on the biceps and triceps (even work on shoulders and back if you want). Use light(er) weights for about 20 reps. 4 to 5 sets per excercise. Try and make the excerices last for between 30-45mins. Once you have done this got for a run working at about 65%. This means do not training (run) intensively. If you are aged between 20-25 I would suggest a 130bpm (heartrate) would be best suited. Research shows that first thing in the morning is the best time to burn fat without breaking down as much muscle. Recent research also shows after a workout (predominantly anaebolic) is also a good time to breakdown fat. |

But I was asking for ways I could concerntrate on my arms. As for running... I go running for min of 45 mins, usually around the roads nearby and through the woods, and swiming for hour an half, once/twice a week. I usually eat when I get in, leave it a hour or two then go out for a run, or eat when I get back. Going to invest in a cross trainer next month (when I get paid) as well as some slight weights to use on the arms. Thanks for the advice :) |
