rekkon lowering it 40mm all round would make it look a lot better?

or would you not really notice it?

anyone got any pics of a VTR lowered 40mm on standard wheels?

cheers.

matt-391-vtr 8th July 2009 00:12

look awsome dude:)

benwh555 8th July 2009 02:22

Looks good. 40mm should look good, nice and subtle. Although with the VTR wheels 60mm seems to suit them as well.

marc_mcquilling 16th November 2009 18:59

right, this ishow the car currently stands...

the side... smoked side repeaters and ford graphite grey VTR wheels.

the front... smoked lights and fogs. colour coded chevrons and mirror caps.

the rear... black badges and de-wipered.

'ICE'... not much like. a lad up the road from me gave me the sub and amp for free so all i had to buy was the wiring kit. it sound pretty good for a small sub like. (6x9's are not plugged in, cba with them)

just showing how i mounted the amp and wires. velcro FTW.

HU... nowt much to write home about. ipod connection though.

Comps... pretty self explanitory.

Glovebox... switch to turn the sub off when i dont want to use it (drained my battrey when washing the car before) and where the ipod is mounted.

New Gearknob... not to everyones taste but i like it.

New rims... got them for £40! i was happy hahah. had them shotblasted and they are ready to paint gloss black.

any comments and or criticism welcome!

Hi mate... Nice looking motor so far, just thought i'd let you see mine, she's sat on the Apex -35mm kit with the torrsion bar down about 45/50mm

marc_mcquilling 16th November 2009 21:29

thats a nice look there mate. think i might go 40 front and 50 rear. insurance will only cover me to 50mm.

marc_mcquilling 28th November 2009 00:45

whhels are nearly done...

hopefully after xmas, i will have the new wheels on, lowered by 40mm snd should have some tinted wind deflectors..
