they done a survey a few years back and said the worlds biggest drinkers where ireland, then germany and then england.

per head germany is the biggest, then england and then france, but on ratio to the amount of people who actually drink the irish where above the rest! and if england had same population as germany, they would be 2nd! but they have nearly 20 million people less than germany!

me personally find the english one of the best bunch of people in the world as they have the same humour as us, and in belfast we always bump into stag parties or hen parties and we have brilliant craic with them!

but theres always a small minority (ie. you and the likes of) that get the english tarred with the same brush!

maybe if you spent a weekend over here you would change your views and actually like the place because of its warm welcoming!

my girlfriends irish, and most of her family is alright, but still dont really want to go there, dont know why, although i hear its got really nice scenery though so maybe one day!
