Need some more help from you Jeffchiz.. With my fuel pipes can i use the orig pipes ( already has fuel return line ) and i don't know which one is the main and return, one has a bit for plugging in one has a bit for going over.

jeffchiz 24th May 2010 20:03

yea mate you can use the original pipes, and your so lucky you have a fuel return my vtr didnt have one so i had to block it off :(

the engine will only work if they are in the right way round because i put my supply line in to the return port on the fuel rail and it dint work so i took it off put it on to the other port and it worked straight away but because i didn't have a return pipe i was pissing out fuel lol so i had to get a length of pipe and shove a massive bolt down it covered in tiger seal lol

Ahh so even if i was to fire it on the wrong one it wouldn't do any harm? thats ace, Not sure what all else i really need to do, Engines in mounts are in, loom is plugged in, ecu plugged in, manifold on, Need to put linkages in and fuel pipes and thats basically me?

jeffchiz 24th May 2010 20:10

let me have a little think... clutch cable, accelerator cable, coolant pipes??

also make sure you take the old imobiliser out before you start the car! otherwise your unlocked gti ecu will be useless lol

Dont know where the immobiliser box is? I tried starting it already to see if fuel came through and it did? It had a clifford alarm on, possibly immobiliser on it no idea?
