Hi mate, dnt take any notice of these pratsİ, they always take the piss out of members with no avatar and a location name after a bird on bo Selecta. Btw how is Kezz? Ya bastard.

Anyway, you need a turbo.

As well as the arial of of an old motarola mobile telephone, if you can get the one thats 4" long then thats good, once you have this wrap some bacon around it then throw it in the bin as you dont need it.

Obviously you are going to need a larger radiator, i reccomend delonghi, currently have an offer on oil filled radiators at currys mate.

Finally you will need to get it mapped up, try your local bookshop for an AA Atlas and keep this on top of your ECU.

Sorry ive just woke up otherwise i would have given better bollox. If you want any more advice then inbox me.

enough of the crap!! rite its pointless turboing a vtr but why not if your gunna keep it a while and you secure with you paying out more insurance then this i what you would need!!

35psi turbo which can fit a 2.5inch inlet and a 2.5 outlet!

intercooler with piping

turbo timing sensor

turbo management adjuster

turbo psi gauge

and a hell load of wires!!

you mite have to whip out the angle grinder on the lovely vtr but why not if you ok doing it your self then go for it should cost roughly £1000-£2000 for everything
if not take it to a specialist they will charge you over £3500 for everything!! and in some cases they will take short cuts eg: not pre adjust the turbo to only let out up to 8psi!! on a 1.6 anymore than 10 you will blow the S@$& out of your manifold!! my advise do it your self

dave-richards 7th December 2010 21:05

ok

turbo
inlet manifold
exhaust manifold with flange for turbo
bigger injectors
stand alone ecu
intercooler
blow off valve
intercooler and turbo pipes
oil cooler as the turbo will need it

the list goes on, i just can't remember everything

turbo psi gauge

and a hell load of wires!! im converting my vtr to turbo, wont be adding any wires tbh

^^^^^ just lol @ the above "pre adjust the turbo" do they all come with adjustable actuator's?
and can you run more boost on engines bigger then 1.6 like? why is the 1.6 so special? "blow the manifold?" :fcuk:

oh and why is it pointless turbo'ing a vtr?
