update: lots of parts on there way a clean up and more

over the weekend ive ordered/bought the following:
.a posi blue passenger side arch
.cigarrette lighter
.pair of fogs
.posi petrol cap
.drivers mirror
.flat blade wipers
.oil, oil filter and engine flush
.led number plate and side light bulbs
.yellow tinting film
.couple of nice stickers

and more bits and bobs to come

found out a few parts i had lying around i.e:
.cd player from the fiesta
.3 way door speakers
.powder coated heatshield
.flick switches that may come in handy

also ive looked through the history to find the car has had a brake conversion up front to 266mm which is a plus (near new pads and ebc discs)

anyways gave it a real quick clean up today wheels door shuts engine bay and the outside needs a full interior valet and a polish up tomorrow when i get chance so here are a few pics...

(still needs a major clean)

(exhaust rubber needs replacing)

(bootlid will be getting repaired soon)

once the bits and bobs ive ordered/bought are fitted and ive finished cleaning it up it should look quite tidy overall

comment away...

quickly fitted the black powder coated heatshield this morning although previous owners snapped a bolt off to that'll need seeing to so it sits perfect...

the snapped off bolt..

need to remove that sub wire as i wont be having a sub in it and after lunch give the inside a good tidy up if i get chance

posi vtr update

most of the parts i ordered have now shown up except the mirror petrol cap and wipers which should be here asap..

gave it a good service today:
engine flush
oil and filter
refitted the coil pack as it wasnt fitted right lol
cleaned out the air filter
put injection cleaner through her
and done a general check from top to bottom finding a few new issues one being the driver side driveshaft has no gator! and passenger side is torn sunroof seal had came loose so refitted and also a few exhaust rubbers which need replacing.

still need to wrap the other fog fit the new arch and find out a side repeator then it should be ready for its mot once ive fitted the bits and bobs im waiting on :)

also thinking yellow wheels..

performanceparts2011 18th February 2012 14:43

now got the car taxed and on the road havent really had time or money to do much to it other than add a set of heko wind deflectors line the exhaust up properly and sort the electrical fault that appeared after getting stuck in the snow (turned out to be a wire arking out)
bought a new driverside drive shaft and spark plugs today for it so ill fit those asap along with fitting the nearside arch and driverside mirror cap..

once all thats done im planning on upping the power as much as possible as it handles perfect! so ill be looking into a 4-2-1 and a decat as soon as i can
