Some decent pics with a digital camera. Still in love with this :A:

It now has the decat fitted, has a nice note to it. A lot different to the usual supersprints and pugsports iv had, but great all the same. Its still quiet when driving normally around town so that's a bonus.

Also got my new snow foam lance. Had to play around with the settings a bit though, when I first used it, it ended up on the car like thick cream :homme:

Anyway pictorz:

Should have bought one ;) Yeah the wheels are 15's, they do look a bit small, but I like them a lot now.

Gave the clio a good cleaning one weekend. De-tarred, claybarred, polished then waxed with collinite 476s. A very good product, and still fairly easy to work with. I never took any before pics as I never really had the time, but there was tar everywhere. All good now though :D

Finally got a pic of the engine bay:

Obligatory beading pics after rain:

Down at knockhill on the 16/09/12

And a few scenic pics seeing as I am a pic whore:

I got mine from fancy plates. You need to go the section for "fancy plates" (the illegal ones)

Size is 520mm x 90mm. Im sure there is a guide for it on the cliosport stickes. :)

Gandi699 8th October 2012 22:04

Looking good - Want to come and clean mine?

Nah ones enough lol Thats the bad thing about this orange, you see the tar everywhere!

Was speaking to a random guy in the pub on sat night and he was like "your the guy with that orange clio aren't you?" "Aye" "Its spotlessly clean, I love it!"

:A: Im surprised I managed to fit my head outside the pub after that haha, especially after the guy at the body shop also said it was very clean!

2/3/13 - 64,000miles

Serviced it yesterday. New oil (Fuchs Titan SuperSyn 5w-40), filter and plugs (NGK). It was by chance that the milage was 64k exactly. I dont have extreme ocd, honest!

Squeezed the front into the garage along with my other car, seeing as it was raining. What a job like, I want a 4 post ramp! lol

Inlet off:

Difference in plugs, old ones had quite a large gap

While the inlet was off, I decided to paint it. It was something I wanted to do for a while, so thought why not do it while it was already off.

I will be polishing the rest of the writing on it, but ill take into work and use the air tools. Got bored of rubbing it!

So the idle now seems to be a bit smoother, so im happy with that. :)

C+C's welcome :)

Good work!

Bobo0907 3rd March 2013 21:06

Thanks. IMO the engine bay will look better once i get my engine cover painted inferno then fitted. Will get it done soon. :)

Bobo0907 30th March 2013 19:25

Engine bay nearly finished, looks much better imo. Still some polishing to be done on the lettering, and a few touch ups on the black parts, but will get that done. Oh and paint the fuel rail gaurd thingy the same gloss black like the inlet.

Also fitted some orange anodised bolts to the airbox. A quick pic:
