James 9th June 2008 12:05

Tough one to call, I know alex can drive lol...

cammedvtr 9th June 2008 17:46

haha, i can also crash pritty well to. Yeehaaaaaa.

You need to service that black on mate befor it goes anywere near the road, its had that oil in for over a year and the plugs will need a sparkle to haha....

James 9th June 2008 17:47

I'll do that myself and write the car off,

Will get it sorted man before it's driven on the road.

James 30th July 2008 13:23

Right, bit of an update for ya'll, over the last day or so I have stripped most parts of the engine, had ash round the last night to help me sand the bay down and take the rocker cover off. When we did this something went snap, so laughing out loud I tell alex on MSN.

He's now coming down to help me solder it back toghther on saturday hopefully. :( Ash thats your fault!!! lol only messing man shit happens :(

Snapped part, some type of mini flux capacitor or something.

Cleaned some wires, got bored..

mmmm lovely

Cleaned some more wires... got bored again.

Sanded some paint..

Cleaned the slam panel..

Engine in bits, hope to fuck it still works *chuckles*

Colour choice for the rocker cover, needs sanding back again and another layer of paint and then some laquer but you get the idea. New Kent Cams metal thingy should be coming saturday with alex, said he still has a couple of them in his garage somewhere.

Also got sam to go and pick me some new bolts up as mine are rusted to fuck,

See sams thread or;

http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j129/samcook/7.jpg

1.80 each but they look the shit, might as well do it right if I am going to do it at all. So tar to sam for that :)

List of parts needed and things to do goes on and on;

Fuse Box cover,
Standard ECU cover,
Re-paint chrome strut brace same colour as rocker and add custom stencil with some chavvy logo because im a cunt.
Fit xeon headlights,
Get new radiator clips,
Either refurb master brake cylinder or buy a new one, I will go for the cheapest option because again, I am a cunt. Will see how much scrappy want first.
Heatwrap for fanny mould
etc etc etc.

Shot vid of the new zaust, sounds fooking lovelly compared to the gashnex. vid was taken about a month ago lol

http://www.downtown-mafia.com/cloud/...1/MOV03232.MPG

Removed the rear diffuser for the time being. Will probally re-add it at some point. Car does not look the same without it.

Think thats about it, will update this over the next couple of days as the engine will be in paint then.

leeroybrown 30th July 2008 13:41

Thats a big update!

Heard lots about this car from yourself and about 4 hours of crap from Alex at Trax;s last year

I presume this is the one your taking to the ring.

Would love to see this

May come and make a visit

James 30th July 2008 13:48

I want to take it to the ring, but waiting on someone *cough* Craig *cough* ;)

leeroybrown 30th July 2008 13:50

Aye it has seen better days, give it a month and it will be back to it's former glory. It's just finding the motivation to do things, it's so easy to cast it off.

The hard bits done now anyway, it's a simple case of sorting it out and putting it back together.

Once engine is done, wheels will go black with a red lip. need 4 new toyo's so might as well do it then.

Yellow and black will look like a bumble bee.. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Predator_R32 30th July 2008 16:02

the flux capacitor is the radio suppressor james, dont worry about i, it just stops interference in houses when you drive past them :p

should be a decent car once sorted, iread some were that you shouldnt polish the inlets, just he uneven surface helps as it mixes particles of air etc better, the outlets arefine, cant remember where i read it now though

Car runs fine and she's nippy so hasent done any damage, it's been like that for at least 3 years i think lol

You sure thats the radio thing, it was attached next to the left of the rocker cover. Alex said it was something else lol and he knows the car inside out :P

Predator_R32 30th July 2008 16:10

Refrubed wheels silver (done by myself) will never look right, colour will never be how it was.. there curbed to hell so need doing.

Trying to cut back on costs mate, so would rather do something that I am going to be happy with rather than thinking 'oo that colour is slightley off to how they were'.
