JayWard 6th October 2009 15:01

cheers mate :)

JayWard 8th October 2009 17:51

well got a few bits through that ive ordered:

also got my meguiars clay bar kit but its not in the picture,

today ive given my car a mini detail, rinsed in maxi suds, washed in autoglym shampoo using 2 bucket method and hand mitt, then clayed with the meguiars clay kit, then dried using giant microfibre towel, then used meguairs quick detailer. .also added some tyre shine and cleaned the windows using some window spray cleaner from asda!

wanted to also polish and wax but ran out of time as on a night shift so ill do that another day, the paint feels so much better and looks the best its been since ive owned it, feels like a mirror, heres some pics anyway and let me know what you think:

sorry about the poor quality pics, i used my camera phone, the only thing that lets the car down now is the dent at bottom of passenger door :(

JayWard 8th October 2009 17:52

next on the agenda is to service the car and get a few bits sorted and fitted that ive got in the garage :) hopefully with help from luke!

just wish i had a better camera as them pics dont do the car any justice at all :(

JayWard 23rd October 2009 11:08

Luke 23rd October 2009 12:50

Luke 24th October 2009 19:50

Too low for the speedbumps around my area, but it does look very nice to be honest.

JayWard 24th October 2009 19:56

does look good low tbh wasn't sure before i saw the pics, makes the arches etc look bigger/more beafy! can't put my finger on it

JayWard 25th October 2009 20:22

Luke 25th October 2009 21:00

Friend was asking if you were still bringing car up too buddy?

JayWard 22nd November 2009 10:55

luke did you get my PM about this?

Anyways ive done a photoshop of my car lowered and wheels painted, also getting the dent removed but im not too good on photoshop to do that lol opinions welcome :)

lowered with silver wheels or lowered with anthracite wheels?
pics:

Luke 22nd November 2009 10:56

Lowered on Silver wheels mate.

Sorry, just checked - I did and I thought I had replied, I will send you today mate.

JayWard 22nd November 2009 11:20

lol mate don't worry i do that sometimes, think ill reply in a min then just never happens! male thing i think :)

tbh i like the darker wheels but think the silver wheels look more fresh thats why im in 2 minds?
btw seen the newer rear lights we spoke about and can get the pair for around £40 from someone i know, just gotta sort out some dollar etc thought that was a decent price

MOT is due on the 17th december too lol :(

XSARA_ROSS 22nd November 2009 11:50

Nice Hdi what kinda power you running at the mo?
Looks ace with the anthracite wheels :clapping::clapping:

This is my Xsara Hdi 110:

JayWard 22nd November 2009 17:00

looks nice mate that does, never thought about them cars
what engine is in yours?

erm im not too sure on the power mate tbh need to go on a rolling road when ive sorted a few more things out, whats yours running?
hmmm i like both sets of wheels, think the silver looks fresher but think the darker looks smart!

Luke 22nd November 2009 17:03

Think thats a 2.0 HDI by looks of it.

How many pairs of lights can you get?

JayWard 22nd November 2009 17:14

havent asked mate, can find out for you if your after a set? thought it was a good price as although similar look so much fresher imo

Big difference with the EGR valve disconnected? I was tempted by an exhaust on mine, still need a panel filter too. Mine is a 307 HDI (1.6 110bhp) running about 136bhp with just a remap.

XSARA_ROSS 22nd November 2009 20:07

suppose when the fmic was fitted the airbox wouldnt fit :wall:

So got the Apiro air filter :y::y:
Once i get the custom map it should be a rocket :fcuk::fcuk:

There is a guy on www.tdocuk.com Mr Whippy who had a 306 hdi with 160 bhp was 0-70 secs and eating GTI-6 round the track :clapping:
