Car looks good, especially for that money. Speedline turini's would look really nice on it. Not keen on the LED number plate lights but thats just me. It looks a bit lower than 60mm on the back to me, but could just be the angle of the pics. I definatley recommend getting the supersprint race system, they sound really nice.

stevo67 16th January 2010 20:24

Nice car is that a split I see in the front grill(crack in plastic)

Steve.

leighk18 16th January 2010 20:25

hey mate ya would love speedline turinis loved them from my clios days, the back is defo lower than 60mm but cant really say what it is when i get the money and time the hight will be changed any way as want the car more useable, and got a straight thought pipe now and looking for a ss back box or looking to the ashely ones also to be a bit diffrent

Steve.

yes it is mate need a new one but no job atm so mods any few and far between but will be sorted also there is a dent in the bonnet but will be replacing that with a fiberglass one

benwh555 16th January 2010 20:29

You looked at the one's on Kam Racin? Thats what i think i'll get eventually, i've got a supersprint race center section with at powerflow backbox atm. I love the way it looks, its an oval so looks nice a subtle. I'm thinking maybe getting one of the stainless steel one's off Kam then having the tail pipe chopped and an oval the same as mine put on.

leighk18 16th January 2010 20:36

ya been looking over kam quite a bit was going to get the race section but then got an alternative section what does the same job just a few mm smaller in dimaiter for £40 quid so just need a back box to join it to i quite like my standerd box as its round not oval so depends how it all sounds with that really but looking into itbs or a turbo converstion later down the lane so trying to keep costs down on bits which will only get replaced at some point

auds 17th January 2010 12:35

New plates look smart :y:

leighk18 19th January 2010 10:30

*update*

exhaust now on but jsut blows a bit so bit more sealing needed but now it smoking like a mother fucker but thats probs due to the de-cat and not had a run in a while but loads of water is building up in the back box so all good

leighk18 19th January 2010 12:06

next update altanator belt has now snapped again this is too its broke now so not good :(

auds 19th January 2010 13:51

Good one with the exhaust, bet you're glad that's on :)
not so good news about the belt though, how come it keeps breaking, is it too tight or something?

leighk18 19th January 2010 14:16

well exhaust still needs fixing on bit better blowing from the manifold but cant be ased jacked it up need some better fitting bolts to hold it toghter

and for belts no idea this was brand new off a mate and today jsut lost power streeing etc and was like wtf poped the bonnet and no belt haha found the belt half way down the lane

leighk18 20th January 2010 14:32

well over the last few weeks have noticed the sun roof has been looking so following the guide today i pulled off the headling and well here is what i found :( bad times

and then the next few pics mite explain why its been leaking so much and the headlineing is damp all over but socking wet on the right side wounder why.....

and here is a pic of the alt belt i manged to find after it come off the alt in the road

auds 20th January 2010 14:42

Shit!!! that's not good is it, my sunroof leaked a little last year from the handle, so fitted a new one, and it gathers a lot of moisture in there I noticed, but unfortunately yours looks more than that :(

Can't believe that alternator belt too, why on earth has it gone like that, maybe it's the wrong kind and didnt fit right, too loose?

Good luck with getting those sorted though :) feel for ya :(

leighk18 20th January 2010 18:24

yup no idea what going to do with the sunroof now still need to check the drain pipes but think its more to do with the rust spot as in were the water is coming from

and for the belt think my mate mite no of lined it u proper and has been rubbing and then pulled it self off so will have to make sure there is not another problem before fitting a new belt

leighk18 22nd January 2010 11:05

leighk18 25th January 2010 17:16

well today i went out and pocked around at the rust today on the sunroof and well found a hole about the size of a 50p so after trying all sorts of things to cover the hole i lucky found a rubber grommet in my odds and sods box so pushed this into the hole and coverd with sealeant and tomoz will give it another going over in sealent and hope it works if not its got to be a new sun roof job :( bad times well here is some pics
