Exactly the same mate :)

What are your next plans for it, any more wild changes? It's a shame you moved on from the white car with the big bumper and white Kei wheels...it was the nicest Megane i've ever seen at that stage, imo

Interior is the next plan, need to retrim the seats black. Then onto the engine, although wont be tuning anything, just getting engine out and cleaning the engine block and bay, and replacing anything that is worn out. Regarding the white Keis and big bumper, the alloys were 18" and the ride was terrible, was like driving a 4x4. And the bumper just didn't seem to suit the car after a while, but i am way too picky hence i changed it back to standard

Edit: Nicest OLD shape Megane i must add...the new ones are in another league...especially a white Megane sport with the decals :P

No offence taken  But imo the new shaped Meganes are horrendous, like may of the brand new cars that are made these days, way too futuristic for my liking!

Thankyou :)

Did you sell the Kei wheels? What offset were they? No chance Honda and Renault are the same are they? I want them for mine! 18's would look fine on mine aswell! What were the exact wheels called?

You must of grown up a bit or something then LOL going from how it looked in white with the Kei wheels...to how subtle it is now, it's kinda Euro style now...whereas before it was plain and simple fanny magnet style

Keis were sold a long time ago, offset for the Megane is between 36-42, 4x100 PCD. Not sure what Honda is? Although i am sure you can get the wheels for Honda. These were the wheels but mine were the Force 8s and not the Force 10s:

http://www.kei-alloy-wheels.co.uk/se...b01aeae492ef19

Exact name of wheels : Kei Racing Force 8

I have grown up alot, days when i had the neons etc are gone, subtle is what im after. I guess most of us are like that now. Don't get me wrong, i have made some odd and silly modifications, but don't we all. We live and learn and move on :)

Peter_D 31st August 2010 15:53

Cheers, they look well cool, not too expensive either!

Definately considering a set of those for the Teg in the near future!

But i'll not hijack your thread LOL...keep us updated on the car :y:

Shanukes 16th September 2010 10:19

it did look good white but i wanted to go a different direction. Worst thing is im getting bored of the Coupes seen as ive had it for 6 yrs now so may sell up in the new year to get a diesel. Just hard to part with it as its part of the family now.

callows93 16th November 2010 16:40

kevin37 16th November 2010 17:29

i think you made the right choice to change it the white didnt suit it as much as the colour now does imo

Shanukes 16th November 2010 22:03

johnlambert 16th November 2010 22:23

Shanukes 17th November 2010 10:31

cheers for the opinion mate, yea loved the gold Rotas but wasnt impressed with the car at some angles, hence the change. Im just way to fussy tbh :panic: :afro:

kevin37 17th November 2010 10:59

ryanxfs 28th February 2011 19:55

looks nice mate personally I'd have kept the Rota's in white, I love them wheels and kept the whole car white but with them.

Fantastic work though enjoyed reading this :)

Rob-6 28th February 2011 20:43

I have to say I think it looked best in white with the kei's on it but it still looks awesome now. Whats in the garage behind it wrapped up?

Shanukes 28th February 2011 22:37

thanks for the input guys :) the car behind is my gfs brothers classic mini, hes too young to get insured on it so been in my garage for the past 3 yrs with the Megane

Shanukes 21st March 2011 15:19

Car had to go to Renault today as the alarm system went haywire on it last week so have asked them to rip it out and will be getting a new one. Took some pics before it left:
