35mpg from each engine, 2 engines, 35mpg x 2 = 70mpg? Sounds good to me.

Do both engines run from one fuel tank?

Not from the look of the cunning cable tied fuel filler at the top left of the boot hatch.

I always chuckle when I see those blue Recaro knock off seats that makro used to sell. Proven to collapse in a crash and look cheaper than a fat lass in the Big Market.

ROFPMSL is the correct internet term.

However, I don't advise pissing yourself, especially if you're rolling on carpet.

ashj22 27th June 2014 14:28

What about cum? Is that what your farts smell of?

holdawayt 27th June 2014 16:51

I fucking love it.

I once built a skateboard with an engine, it's construction was mainly sponsored by Meccano. I had a 50cc go kart engine, welded a gear cog onto one of the wheels and linked both with a chain.
A minute into riding it, thinking I was the next James Dyson, the chain came off making it a rolling chainsaw. I jumped off and quickly resigned to the fact that although ambitious, a master fabricator I am not.

I imagine the builder will have a similar moment of clarity when one of his engines decides it no longer wants to be an engine, and would rather be a weighted explosive device capable of much death and many sadness.

But yeah, I'll whack a bid on that.

ashj22 27th June 2014 17:02

someone that did do this would surely have a bit more wit than a stone.

chompy 27th June 2014 21:29

Clearly you don't

ashj22 27th June 2014 22:30

some banter would be nice chompy, instead of sounding as boring as watching paint dry.

dan-sport 27th June 2014 23:10

Saw this in person about 2 weeks ago, cooling for rear engine is ridiculous, engine didn't looked bodged in but the shell was rough, brackets for the headlights were broke and bodged oh and the front inner arches are rusty as fuck.

blackie_2k5 28th June 2014 17:53

its all relative ;)

Saxvtsdan 4th July 2014 14:36

Sure this lad lives in Telford people were asking me if I'd seen it on eBay and were like I bet it's well fast. Yeah it maybe fast but 280 brake and all he has done to the engines is put an exhaust and an air filter on them does that really add another 20 brake I don't think so some ones a fibber

white_vts_boy 5th July 2014 00:06

Looks like a very expensive death trap but no doubt someone will buy it, them back wheels stick out a mile!

You can get a decent car for 3k that's probably worth about 1k in bits max!

Jizanthapus 5th July 2014 00:13

He's relisted it at £3250 buy it now...

He's also added that it will do 0-60 in 3.6secs and 0-100 in 10 secs!!

This. Let's see how it fairs against some heavy German estate cars on the old 0-60 and 0-100 runs eh? ;)

I've been at graft for 6 hours man!

Ross 5th July 2014 11:37

Is that because you're northern and have to work 22 hours a day to get £35, being that you're all on sub-minimum wage?
