rushy_23 2nd November 2006 00:40

Beautiful Saxo mate, main thing I like about it is that it has an individual look.

Havent gone down any typical routes with it.

JAMESVTS 2nd November 2006 00:59

thanks for the comments:)

personally when people go on about how low it is i recon they have never driven one this low, i do many track days and never had a problem, must be a myth about shit handlein when this low, it handles like a go kart and have noprobs on track....

i prefer these headlights to std as think the change the front of the car completly, make it look a bit more modern, tho dont like angel eyes thats why i fitted normal side lights to the units :)

its running mf2 injector driver, biege injectors and a T2, yes its a mocal oil cooler in the bumper too:)

will get some rollin road runs in and let u no...

Oli_P 2nd November 2006 01:05

car looking mint as always :), even nicer in those pics though, come along way since i last saw it when i visited my bro last :)

My car is that low (70ish) and it handles/drives like shit on eibach/avo shocks and springs. :P I suppose you get used to it by driving it allot but im sure you would be able to tell a huge difference on a proper track setup.. just my opinion though dude. Still a very nice car.

vtrchris64 2nd November 2006 02:13

OMG thats the nicest mk1 ive ever seen i'd love mine to look like that.

I'm now on a mission, bar the intercooler lol

lambinator 2nd November 2006 06:26

fucking lush

rushy_23 2nd November 2006 07:59

I think what sets it off is those polished VTS wheels and how low it is.

Good on you mate being different.

Whats it like round the track otherwise? Suprised many other cars?

Clouds_mate 2nd November 2006 08:07

Beautiful, Wasnt this car up for sale a good few months back? Are you the new owner or have to kept it?

omg by far the nicest saxo ever! if i had a mk1 i would do it exactly like that!! fucking lush mate!

Dan 2nd November 2006 10:03

That is nice but agree on sean's comment that its too low also I would change the headlights for morettes and put standard rears on.

What power figures you hoping for?

hesslevtr 2nd November 2006 10:05

personally i would of tryed setting the intercooler back a bit

to low in my opinion for the same sa cloud and sean have said

not to sure if i like the wheels either

id put all standard lights back on to

nice though

mark16v 2nd November 2006 10:14

Would like to see it on the rollers against Simos turbo, just to see what sort of BHP you can get . Dumped on the floor, with polished vts rims looks the muts nuts :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: Looks well sorted

VTS_16v_Boy 2nd November 2006 12:36

A mazing. If there was ever a ambasordore for what the Saxo scene was all about at the moment this car is it.

Simple clean lines, few mods to bring the car upto date with the power to back it up as well. If everone liked it there would be a funny old world so its good a few have got opions on how'd they would change it.

Any chance of tell us which mag? Was it Performance French Cars? Big fan of that title

Didz 2nd November 2006 12:48

tommyc 2nd November 2006 19:17

throttleboy 2nd November 2006 19:43

sweeeeeeeeet! how much for conversion? was it much trouble? like everythin about dis car dont change a thing!wel done dude, bravo!

rushy_23 2nd November 2006 23:16

Lol this guy has got a lot of questions to catch up on

JAMESVTS 2nd November 2006 23:19

cheers for the comments :D

yea its gona be in pgti(french cars) nxt issue :)

most the conversion is my own sweat and guts and had the mani and exhaust custom built up. in all cost me around 1600 to get it turbo'd which is really cheap for the gain.

yes it was for sale, with the old engine in, was after an evo4 but recon i did the right choice and kept it. lots more fun i think:)

On track, ive had no probs with it tbh, gone around a few cossy's, supra's etc which suprised them hehe. want to concentrate on the bottom end now and run some silly boost through it, but then will have an even bigger traction issue
