so any plans for her

Yea dude. Basically the plan is to keep her forever lol. Hopefully get a VTS engine in her within the next couple of years, some leather and some other goodies. But im not going to say any of that is definetely happening as it all depends on money. But i've got lots of plans in my head as to what i'd like to happen.

I think the key to your saxo is improving oem, which is what I think is best on cars :)
Well done matey :)

Always been my philosophy mate :y: Tbh, the Sax needs some major attention, not mechanically or anything... but i havent made any modifications in a good few month and i feel i ought to crack on with her. I've always had plans for the interior and i've now got a rough idea of what i'm going to do :)

Plans are mainly for the interior at the minute dude.. but im not saying too much as i dont want to say all this stuff is happening and then it dosent due to funds lol. I probably was parked in Matlock, opposite skate park? Me and my mate went riding trials bikes :y:

Not really any problems dude. But they've now built speed humps outside work and it was getting a pain in the arse. The front splitter still catches, but it's rubber so it can take it :)

5AMBO 27th September 2009 23:14

oh right, fair play. we have speed bumps too that are not a problem for me at the mon but i intend to go lower soon as i can and face the problem when it happens really. not decked, just 60mm front and 70mm rear i expect.

Anyway....love the car mate. great work

TBH dude. I'd say the height mine is now, is perfect. It handles decent, looks better i reckon and my mate who i went Matlock with as mentioned above was pleasently suprised at how comfortable it is.

As i measured it, it's 90mm. Before it was 120mm. The fronts just 60mm Gmax springs.

5AMBO 27th September 2009 23:28

I am prob gonna go for 60mm apex kit on front and 70-80mm rear

ShaneyG7 27th September 2009 23:31

Them Dials look stunning.. how did you get them like that?

Sounds good to me dude. I've seen some full kits sit lower than mine too. A lad (forgot his name, met him at a SaxP/106owners meet), had a white VTS, 60mm springs with Spax shocks and it sat around 10mm lower than mine, which is ideally how i'd like mine but i'm happy with how it is for now.

visual-performance.co.uk mate :y:

EDIT: Just noticed, they have new designs now, but it's pretty much the same kit.

Right lads! So, i've recently got back into riding trials. But as i've got the cage i've never been able to put the back seats down meaning i had to put the Monty on a cloth on the back seat. My original plans were to have leather, but i dont really fancy putting the Monty on leather!
So i've thought about taking the showcage out and putting leather in. And then about stripping it and leaving the cage in (i know it's a showcage, but im ignoring that for now) and having fixed buckets.

Still unsure, but as a test i stripped the back out (not completely, i know) yesterday just to see how i cope for the next couple of weeks. So time will tell how i decide to go.

Anyway, some pics:

VTRacer 6th October 2009 18:23

i got some full leathers forsale chip and im after a show cage, if u deceide to go down that route :D

Anthony 6th October 2009 19:44

strip it mate and drop a 16v in there ;)

J222JRA 6th October 2009 21:23

dont strip mate, its too nice for that imo, get some leathers

Ben 6th October 2009 21:25

+1 on the leathers. 100% mate, they would suit your car down to a tee.
