he nearly hit that teg at the jump as he was too busy watching you in his mirrors the fool lol

Yeah instead of letting us past lol

I love the "get out the way you fucking piece of shit" and then "HAHAHAHA from you", and then at the end you telling the guy "Yeah its pretty quick for a 1.4 hey mate, and he replied fuck off" lol

I was suprised that it was hardly quicker than mine down the straights, considering its 300bhp!

hard_corejoeboy 5th October 2010 18:22

RS' are only 203bhp per tonne or something aren't they?
What power are you putting out?

About 180 per ton, that would explain why then.

hard_corejoeboy 5th October 2010 18:34

180 per tonne is really good RS clio's are about 166 i think off the top of my head.
You done any 0-60 1/4 mile tests?

How much was the CF roof btw? Are you very rich? Seems like overkill lol

jpsaxo 7th October 2010 19:59

It's a btb mild steel one lads, it's lasted 4years which isn't bad considering it's done 4 ring trips, silverstone, mallory, landow twice, donnington etc track days as well!

Chr15 7th October 2010 20:01

Even parts of the Titanic are in better nick! :p

I would have thought that it would take a lot more than what you've done to get that bad?

Yeah of course, if i cant save up 500quid between now and july then i need to be shot lol

OK; couple of updates, Rockingham have cancelled the track day on Sunday which is annoying, so im gonna head down to the touring cars final round at brands hatch and have a decent drive in the mango.

Also Manifold is now fixed, i cant be arsed to fit it though as I walked 8 miles at work today lol

Olly 8th October 2010 20:28

Was actually really looking forward to rockingham when i rang up to book:( mega dissapointment for moi.

£500? is that all it costs? Seems quite cheap? Is that for like petrol costs? accommodation?

Shame about the track day. how did you fix the manifold, cut and re-weld?

jpsaxo 8th October 2010 20:46

Sorted!

Can't get any pics of the weld repair in the garage will get some in the day light tomorrow

J222JRA 8th October 2010 20:49

Would it be worth making a plate to put on the bottom of the manifold.....similar to a sump guard to help protect it abit??

Lewis 8th October 2010 20:53

^ yea good idea, custom head shield, you seem pretty handy with the tools so far, might be worth a shot. Looking awesome either way :)
