I just picked the best blue one I could find, maybe that means you may end up with a good one then :P

I agree Jamie, the same colour Edd and Mike did on Wheeler Dealers, I think that Blue and Yellow suit them really well.

As it happens i haven't bought it lol. I've bought a red one. Left a deposit on it tonight. 1990, 87k miles, immaculate except for a small scuff on front bumper. It's had all the arches done, sills done... Properly as well, not filler/cardboard/crap.

£1200... I'm happy at that :D Looking at it i honestly thought he was going to say he wanted 2 grand :)

Although it maybe 20 years older its better built than a saxo won't break and will last longer.

@ jamie the mx5 has soul, go for a drive at night with the top down under the stars nothing like it.

I done the opposite to this a few weeks ago!

I sold an MX5, and bout a VTR!!

I just couldnt really afford the insurance of the MX5, even though I love Jap cars, love the drift scene, I just needed to be practical for now!

Awesome cars though, good luck with it!

Insurance is £115 cheaper than the 172 :) I'll whack a thread up once i've got it. I've already got a few parts on order for it... As soon as i've got it wheels and coilovers are being ordered. Not ordering them before just incase anything goes tit's up lol.

Believe me, when he said "i won't take any less than £1200" i was jumping round like a little kid inside. Impressed how composed i kept myself on the outside haha.
