Right then folks... I want your opinion's. Should i -

a) Get the R wheels powdercoated ready for the winter...
or
b) Buy some 283mm GTI6 brakes and some 15s for winter wheels?

Baring in mind to get wheels powdercoated it's £30 a wheel. If i go for 283mm brakes i need to buy them, new discs, new wheels, have them powdercoated... and i probably won't see track time anyway lol.

266mm is all you need in a VTR imo.

Get the wheels powdercoated.

just upgrade the standared setup wen needs be and get the wheels powdercoated mate :y:

use the money you will save on somthing else :)

Tbh, that's what i'm starting to think. I've spent far too much on the Saxo recently and had no money for thing's like clothes etc.
If i'm putting the R rims back on though, they definetely need powdercoating. They're looking rather worse for wear now.

if your only using the r rims in the winter then you can wait till later in the year before getting them done :y:

just enjoy the car for a while. it looks sweet on the wolfraces btw :y:

Just used the drying towel - epic... I love it :D

So then...

James suggested the kit above to me and today i decided at the last minute to have the day off and get to work with it all.

Clayed it and omg! Haha. Get's so much dirt off the car even after washing it! And some red stuff came off the front bumper... fook knows what that was :S

After it had all been done the car's now soooo smooth and has an all together brand new look to the paintwork. Picture's really don't do it justice. I'm over the moon :D

But bare in mind i've done it all by hand so a lot of swirls are still there :( for now ;)

Hard to say tbh dude... They have reduced abit... Toyah noticed it without me mentioning it. But they're definetley still there.

I'll sound like a girl but couple of year back i tore ligement's (sp?) in my right shoulder and doing all this polishing today has fucked it up big time :( lol.

Yeah i understood they still be there:( ligement damage is bad bud, best thing to do get your axle sorted, i'll machine polish the car for you, you maintain it as it'll be alot easier and more easier on your shoulder:y:

Been to the bodyshop today for a couple of quote's as i have a few idea's floating around in my head. But won't be done for a while yet.

Looks very very tidy now Chip....much better than it was. Time so save the pennies and take it to the next level as we have discussed.
