Too right ;)

Update: 16/11/09

Right complete change ahead....im putting an MI-16 engine in the 205...will be around 200bhp for the 1st year then will strip it and get some headwork and higher lift cams put in at the end of next year...

Going to run it on my twin 45's with some cams possibly fast road cams on std hydraulic lifters....

Will go very well paired to my BE3 with 4.8 final drive....200bhp doesnt sound loads but in a 205 with lots of torque it will be a good starting ground...my final aim will be around 250bhp as thats the limit i want from a 205 as it will be dangerous...

Also just won some wilwood 4 pots on ebay :) think i need them now :)

Whats up with the original engine plans?

The MI16 will still go well obviously.. Brakes are definatly a good call, what you running currently?

The guy let me down :( idiot tbh....

Yes the MI-16 will be VERY quick...im currently running 306 GTI-6 283mm calipers and discs...which are now for sale if you know anyone ;)

Plans sound awesome!!

Surely the mi16 will be pretty reliable so should do you well!! 200bhp with the 4.8FD will be scary enough !!

Yep will be good fun....people are claiming 190bhp from just fitting a dizzy and 45's thats 30bhp bolt on :)

And yes the acceleration will be fun to say the least :y:

Yes these are cross drilled and grooved discs 260mm, and new mintex 1144 pads.

pugmender 16th November 2009 19:01

yep now you want some hard compound tyres, giving the mess you've been making of mediums with the 1.6 lol

Will get some when mine are knackered.

pugmender 16th November 2009 19:18

your idea of knackered is full canvas on show, can't regroove that! lol

anyway what pads you gonna run , don't tell me 1144, fast road, they will be s**t after a couple of stage miles the way you work behind the wheel, so it may be better option to go for a rally raid set up for cross country, cause thats where ya will be, in the weeds lol
