such a shame :( get some recent pics up to tempt me lol

Skorpion 2nd February 2009 16:46

Koleen. Goodbye Sweetheart

Right folks its time to say goodbye!

Koleen failed MOT and as I was planning on selling her after MOT anyway I have decided I am going to strip her down to her bare naked self!

So if you want something check my for sale thread!!

AlexB 2nd February 2009 16:54

such a shitter mate
espech after the work of lately
faults coming up from everywere now :(

be sad to see her go

Skorpion 2nd February 2009 16:59

Be sad to see her go, Wouldn't mind selling it as a whole but without the MOT its pretty much worth nothing!

Koleen had her good times but as of late she has just been getting me down!!

AlexB 2nd February 2009 17:04

its a shame man
some of its not hard to fix but other stuffs gonna suck

chris205 2nd February 2009 17:18

gutted for you mate, i badly want the alloys but dont have a job atm :( ive been wanting them for quite a while but gota sell my cyclones first

LEE_VTR1 2nd February 2009 18:26

such a shame rich.

but onto bigger and better things ey :P

willsy 2nd February 2009 20:28

FFS! despite the faults its still ridiculous the amount of inconsistency within various MOT testing stations

Aside from the exhaust none of those things on todays list were even worth a mention on the last set of results

Real shame to see it end this way, but as a saving grace at least you can keep a few bits for project GTI!!

Luke 2nd February 2009 20:48

Such a shame to see it been broken mate.

What did it fail on?

rushy_23 2nd February 2009 23:13

Ahh Rich mate. Is a sad day indeed.

But like Lee said I imagine bigger and better?

craig180 2nd February 2009 23:15

What did it fail on mate?

How much would you sell it complete for?

jpsaxo 3rd February 2009 00:19

Sad times Rich - you'll be back :D

Skorpion 3rd February 2009 00:52

I am currently breaking into parts. Most non standars stuff is goinng already. 2 x MOT's

Exhaust front pipe blowing,
welding in both footwell (heater matrix blew up and rotted through)
Had to replace all the tyres
drivers seat insecure
Rear Beam (collapsed, needs new bearings etc)
Front wishbone needed
Rear brake pads replaced
Handbrake 4% efficient!!

Now the bits in blue were picked up on first MOT and I got them sorted with help of Alex and Matt (Mega thanks boys)

Bits in Red were picked up on second MOT and now I cant be bothered and really cant afford to fix it!

As she stands now minus the bmc and b&m I would sell for 1,400 maybe!

Will be back but I might not be french!!

Barry123 3rd February 2009 01:11

that's not actually a great deal to put right man... although I can understand if you've had to sort out a load of shit only to have another load of stuff come up. nightmare.

shame, but onwards and upwards!

Skorpion 3rd February 2009 01:12

Can't be bothered with Koleen anymore! Seems to be problem after problem over last few months and I simply cannot afford to put things right and then spend more getting her looking her best/better!

D8N_LL 8th February 2009 17:37

stunning car mate!

shooorn94 8th February 2009 18:11

As stated it is a shame considerring the work gone into kolleen and how great she looks. The list isn't that bad tbh, but I would completely understand if you are looking at bigger faster vehicles and prepared to learn about another car/buy a more...*ahem*... grown up car ;)

Enjoy whatever you decide skorpion I'm sure reading the progress of the new car with be just as good :y:

Baz 9th February 2009 09:54

Jamie 9th February 2009 10:15

Bad times :(

Lovely motor shame to see it stripped

BENSAX3 9th February 2009 10:40

sorry to here it failed. If you were nearer i would have put an offer in for the complete car. As everyone said move onto bigger and better things

bluenotesmiley 9th February 2009 12:33

Its a shame your selling up mate, your car always stood out from the crowd for me.

Skorpion 9th February 2009 13:17

Cheers for the comments guys, I her hayday Koleen was best motor I have had. Shame to see her go but I just dont have the time to fix her back up or the money at the moment.
