Pics look good mate,

We need a photoshoot together at some point buddy!

We do... although your car would put mine to shame paint wise :( lol. Especially when the Turini's are on!

Quite suprised how good the pics came out tbh dude. Aint used my camera in a while, not for night shots anyway. I personally love the first pic :)

5AMBO 3rd November 2009 12:49

yeah, the quality and effects of first pic are prob best but think third pic does your car most justice. good work.

J222JRA 3rd November 2009 13:41

tell you what mate i will leave the fox wheels on for the photoshoot lol.

From what ive seen your paintwork aint that bad mate, better than most i have looked at.

Haha, nah if i see it in flesh i want to see it with the Turini's on :P lol

It isnt awful the paintwork. Just the few little marks and swirls that you get with an ageing car sadly. If i had the money i'd get it resprayed. But it would only get marked again, saying that :n:

J222JRA 3rd November 2009 13:50

Thats very true mate, imo you will always get swirls even if you use the best cleaning techniques. Even mine had a few now. At this time of year though im more interested in keeping it protected from the elements.

I would love to be close to the paint quality seen on both your cars guys. I just find it so hard to keep the car clean. It just takes so much time and then gets filthy again in a day.

Try having a dark colour like ours... shows up every single spec of dirt :wall: lol

J222JRA 3rd November 2009 14:30

This is very true Chip. Me and the mrs are buting another car between us at some point next year and she was like oh lets have one the same colour as the saxo..........bugger that, were having silver it doesnt show swirls lol

5AMBO 3rd November 2009 16:10

that is true but it also looks a lot, lot better when it is polished etc. as do black cars.

CHIP 4th November 2009 22:30

Small update... Tried to be different. Don't know if it works, but c&c welcome :)

Mind the car being dirty :(

VTRacer 4th November 2009 22:32

It was done when i had the tints done dude. (Tints now removed). Was done by a guy called Jon Golding from Pro-Tint.

5AMBO 5th November 2009 11:25

I cant decide on the sticker.lol. One minute i think I love it, the next im not so sure. I think its a nice touch but sometimes when a saxo is as mint looking as yours it just seems a shame to stick any stickers on it if you know what i mean.

Just a suggestion, have you thought about losing the aerial?

NICK2506 5th November 2009 12:00

I quite like the sticker tbh. love the pics :) i reckon a single wiper conversion would maybe look good on your car or maybe areo wiper blades :y:

J222JRA 5th November 2009 12:32

aero wipers ftw, cleans the front end up no end imo

5AMBO 5th November 2009 13:05

agreed on the aero wipers. they make quite a difference. looks and use wise. there is quite a good deal on them through opie oils website. thats where mine are from. im sure you know what they look like but feel free to check my progress thread.
