Wow... idle seems really civilised for a fairly lairy cam. How does it drive?

Great tbh.. the throttle body and icv etc needs a clean at weekend and the tappets need doing again... otherthan that its mint :y:

Any noticeable improvement in power - worse or better than expected? No doubt it uses a bit more juice as well?

I'm really tempted to fit one of this without a remap tbh! Although according to the Newman spec sheet, the power band has moved up the range so raising the limiter to 7k would probably be a good idea.

Only between 3.5k-7k revs yea.. the acceleration between those is more reactive, and when your proper giving it some it doesnt sound like its gonna go boom like it used to while thrashing lol.

put a £10 in, done 30 miles and just above light :homme:

Does it definitely rev to 7k rpm liam? Should be hitting the limiter at 6.2k if it's on the standard map. :wacko:
