Another update for ya'll, Ive now got some awesome blue strobe lights for shows. They flash in 6 different patterns and have multiple colored sleeves, ill get some night time pics up later.

Strobe Lights!

They wont be staying in the headlights for long, im moving them to the fog lights, here is a video of them having a bit of fun on a private road.

Morgiee 1st May 2010 20:51

Lol im counting on you to sort it out :P

Morgiee 2nd May 2010 17:28

oh dear scary talk lol. However you may need to get more cable to get a good fit and stuff so well pop down to my work and get it. Best getting it on a reel as there will be more than enough and can be used in future

Lewis 2nd May 2010 18:44

Its bank holiday Maplins arnt open :( Doh!

Mercy 2nd May 2010 18:50

Thats so KEWL!!!!

V.nice mate. Just a quickie, is it hard to fit the strobes in? Or is it simply programming/chip of some sort?

Tom5190 2nd May 2010 18:50

You just mount the bulbs where you want them, then run the wires to a relay box and then run the switches into the cabin. I hate electrics and i did it easy enough :)

Well when ive got the lights on at night you can barely see them so when in the fogs i can have both lol

Besides Morgiee is gonna revamp the wiring so its now 'safe' :P

Lewis 3rd May 2010 20:03

Moved the strobes into the fog lights today, big big thank you to Morgiee for all the help (He did all the work) :drink:

Also mounted the controls on the dash where the blank buttons are.

Here are some images and a video of them.

Note: The wires on the 1st image were a bit scruffy they are all neatly hidden now

Morgiee 3rd May 2010 23:06

Yeah mate cheers :y: looks well neat now you cant see any wires, quite tricky but got there. Switch mounts look good too. But like said earlier keep an eye on those stroble if they fall out or not just once a week check under the car lol. But to be honest they went in well so there no reason. If they do then we can cable tie them but the fog lights will have to be removed so that we can do it properally.

Thanks again and good outcome mate, jelous lol :y:

Haha no prob mate just give us a shout if you need a hand.

Also i polished the PiperX and added an oil breather today - Its more shiny in person.

Can anyone suggest a way of blanking off the 2 pipes coming out the side of the PiperX as they are sucking in dirty air?

Morgiee 4th May 2010 13:08

Just tape it up mate or food bag with elastic band, as long as the hole is covered you can use anything:y:

Put a sock in it lol

MTBOROSAXO 4th May 2010 17:38

Best place for parts like that is ebay, sax-p guys are a bit picky. The interior might sell for £20. Lexus lights on the bay for £30 and the alloys depends on what make, condition and tyres - but advertise on sax-p anyway.

But to answer your question sorry mate i dont but ill let you know if i do :)
