Being as you've bumped this, i may aswell update too.
Passenger Sparco is FITTED!
Buuuut, the 'low' OMP sidemounts i ordered are too low. I can't see over the wheel lol. So i have ordered another 'mid' sidemount and the 'low' one's are up for sale if anyone want's them. Pics to come later in the week as it's bloody freezing outside!!!!

imDan 20th December 2009 22:32

I know what you mean dude. I haven't been able to find any Michelin's either.

Beenie 20th December 2009 22:39

well michelin dont make them in that size any more, so theres only a couple left in the country :( dont really wanna go for energy savers.

OOOooo just noticed you have a monster! I was looking at those this time last year and decided to get a gixxer 6 instead, how you liking the servicing costs? lol

CHIP 20th December 2009 22:43

Tbh dude, my dad's a mechanic and auto electrician, so anything regarding servicing and maintanence cost's me for part's only. So it isn't that bad. Although i'm buying a clutch soon, that's £150 :( lol.
Thinking of getting a Kwak Z750 next year though :)
Ducati has a progress thread on here and shall have some nice update's in the next month or two aswell ;)

Beenie 20th December 2009 22:48

Lucky then, sod doing a belt change on one of thoses!
get the z1000 the 750 will leave you wanting more and the 1000 is as quick to 120 as my 600! and mines cresent tuned!

CHIP 20th December 2009 22:49

Belt change is easy mate... for my dad anyway lol. And it wasn't that pricey either.

CHIP 27th December 2009 23:11

Right, seat has been fitted a week or so now but been slow getting pics up lol...

Also, not sure if i mentioned, but i ordered a Griffith's quickshift, but only just before xmas, so not sure when it's going to come. Been wanting to order one for ages, but just never done it lol :y:

CHIP 27th December 2009 23:17

Also, forgot to add that i've now got both seats fitted with 'medium' height OMP mounts. Happy with the way they sit :)

CaldzieVTR 27th December 2009 23:25

liking them, do seem to sit right :)

beaver28 27th December 2009 23:53

Cheers dude. It's starting to come together.

To finish off the inside i plan on:

-Flock
-New Carpet?
-New Mats
-Carbon Doorcards
-300mm Momo Team
-Gearknob to match the Momo as that will be all the chrome gone then (apart from cage)
-Paint the back

:)

VTRacer 30th December 2009 06:01

ahhh love the seats and harnesses chip :y:

Kev_Vtec 30th December 2009 06:05

the seats are so nice!!!!

CHIP 30th December 2009 10:02

Again, cheers folks :) Really like the seats, they seem comfy enough and look the business imo.

Glad i went for 3 points... My mate has err think they are 4 points, with crotch strap and as nice as they are i reckon they're a little too much for a road car.

5AMBO 30th December 2009 10:26

yeah i agree with the three points. all thats needed for road use.

thought about painting the cage gloss black if your getting rid of all the chrome?
