not sure its been asked, but what was the crack with the btb and the first section? was it just because of the fact you cant fit lower brace without bending?

AlexB 9th December 2008 18:49

lol love the mini thread josh

gotta say after the convo last night (well yesterday morning for you) itll be a minted soon

be very intrsting to see how the ring time is improved

got to agree with everyones good comments here...

its one of the most rounded sax's ive ever seen, lots of effort to change it from a everyday economical 1.4 to a boddied beast.

thanks to you aswell jp for all the pax laps and indeed for letting me drive your car through germany and on the nurburgring itself..... it really did make my trip worthwhile. hopefully the next trip will just as good if not better.

even though ive read your thread lots of times, i still read through this one and enjoyed it. top job fella.

oh and the next steps will take the car to the next level ;)

awesome as usual mate.

What springs did you go for height wise? and what did you put the rear at?
What do you rate best out of the toyos and the yokos
and do the 50 profiles rub at all.

Think that is all of my questions for now.

infamousaidy 29th December 2008 00:05

really enjoyed reading all that, i cant beleive i didnt have a look around the car at the big 106owners meet. you'd think as i organised it i'd have paid more attention lol. great car and proof that good things dont have to start off as a top model. pretty inspiring and some nice touches

Think im down roughly 40mm, rear has been matched to the front... Yeah 50 profile, no issues at all apart from full lock and you wont be using full lock on track very often if at all!

Toyo's and yoko's very hard to judge, yoko's lasted for ages but i was only just getting to grips with the car learning how to get the best out of it etc, where as by the time i got the toyo's i was used to the car so they have worn down alot quicker, although when i used them at Donny it was a very very hot english summer day!

Hopefully that helps matey. Thanks for the comments infamousaidy - i had a great day out going to that meet even if it was a treck from Leicester :D
