Boost Parts Bought

I've be hunting around for some boost parts seeing as I've now got a huge list of bits to buy !

Been speaking to a couple of people and one of them had a few bits for sale, as a result my wallet has come away a tad lighter (bargain prices though) and the following has now been bought:

- C2 VTS Inlet
- ATPower 55mm TB
- Adapter plate for the above
- 630cc Injectors and fuel rail (came off a 290bhp car so will be fine)
- GMC Supercharger Bracket
- GMC Idler and Tensioner Puller for s/charger
- GMC Alloy Crank Pulley
- Supercharger Belt (although might be too short - will do for measuring it up)

Should still have change from selling my TB's to fund the above ;)

I'll put some pictures up when they've all arrived

As soon as I heard about these parts for sale I almost bit his hand off, now to work on him with his 94 charger :P

Although I think I'd rather hold back and get a new one for warranty purposes.

Depends how much he's wanting for it/how old etc.
I'd sack off a waranty for a healthy cash saving tbh

looks like u got some good plans :y:

Thanks mate, fingers crossed it will all be worth it!! It's just that first drive of it having been mapped that I'm looking forward too!

Sweet dude, you dont hang about! :p

The car wont hang about after its all done either... :)

raunchz 8th March 2010 18:36

Also guys,

what you reckon I should do with my cut scuttle now it's not going to be needed

I was thinking of maybe some new bulkhead soundproofing from Citroen to cover it? And then getting a new scuttle cover (the part under the scuttle cover that covers the wiper motors)

Could try and weld a sheet across the hole, and then do the above ?

Indeed i am! Im on the friday 12th, hopefully see you there dude.

Im sure it will be scary... Torque steer for the win! lol :fcuk:

I'd drop a piece in the scuttle. Can either cover it with sound proofing, or fill over and paint it.

Thanks mate, I think that's prob the best idea, i'll try and weld a sheet in, then soundproof over it - and paint the inner scuttle part of it.

I was looking at having the coolant header tank in the scuttle (like andy-l?) so might be able to work a few holes into the sheet.

sheet it and fill it IMOds looking very tasty thus far, think im gonna have to get a move on mind :p

thanks, you're lagging behind here !!! You're thread hasn't had an update for a long while :P now the weather's getting better should have plenty of time

Andy-l's was the tank for water injection iirc. But yeah - would neaten the bay up with the header tank in the scuttle.

Ah okay, water injection eh - nice !

I'm just nervous about attaching the engine loom to move the Predator somewhere else - will see how brave I feel, so might have to leave the Ecu tray in there, which leaves me little room for tanks

Andy_K 8th March 2010 20:00

Run the GMC alloy header tank? They are tiny. Plenty of room to fit one in front of the ecu tray on the inner wing

That's a good shout, It's going to get tight in the engine bay !!

The other 94 build is running a header tank in the middle of the top radiator hose ( the blue S2 rallye)

What setup are you running? I might have to have a little gander

Andy_K 8th March 2010 20:10

I'm running the gmc remote header. I'll see if I can dig out a pic for you

1 sec.....
