Wicked, like this alot! Is it a straight swap then? Read some of the posts something about the engine mounts being different?

the engine will sit on the 1100 mount as there are bolt holes to suit both mounts on the block. i am going to strengthen my 1100 mount as its off the road but i did run the car on the standard mount for 3 months with no problem.

Didn't even fackin' realise you was from Plym bud ! Where abouts ?

Nice figures from the RR, looks like it's pulling nice and strong.

cheers mate, actually moved to ivybridge now. but still in the southwest

Krys_23 16th April 2011 20:37

Just weld around the mount to strengthen it, loving this, doing something slightly similar shortly, putting a gti engine in a quiksilver, keeping rotten steels on it and high ride height etc!

awesome. i have welded up all the chassis legs to strengthen it! but want to gusset mount too. also thinking of turning some nylong to put in the rear box mount instead of rubber.

s34n 16th April 2011 23:40

i have completed the inlet and its with my mate for welding. i will get photos on here asap. also took the time to degrease clean and underseal the chassis again pictures coming soon.
