I've never been pulled in my VTR. Even though its 2 tone, blacked out windows, lowered and a loud exhaust, the police haven't done anything.

used to get pulled in my black vtr around once a week, you get to know the drill after a while and it got to the point the cops saw me get out the car and just told me to go on, some of the times driving like a dick, most stopped for "insurance", got breathalysed once.

Sweeping generalisation, most police officers are fine if you respect them and talk to them like human's as opposed to shouting at them in chav.

How do you know most accidents are from incompetent drivers?

Most accidents are caused by younger drivers in specific brands of car, hence they reason they get pulled over more and have to pay more for insurance.

If I ever did get pulled over I would not be the slightest bit worried because:

A) I don't drive like a cock
B) I have valid insurance, MOT and Tax
C) I won't speak to the police officers like they are scum
D) I will have done nothing knowingly wrong

There are always two sides to a story and all we ever hear on here is the abridged version told by a young Saxo driver, hardly the most credible evidence in the world......

First time i ever got in any bother with cops was on my 12th birthday when someone shouted something at some when they were driving past in their car.
Window was open and i was obviously the first person they saw, so PC twat got out of his car and proceeded t scream and shout and threaten me til the point i was in tears and shaking. Luckily a mates mum drove past stopped and listened in, and actually defended me - lead to a certain dickheads suspension.

Since then I have never trusted a copper nor liked them.

Have had people on my parents property (when i was about 14), I got defensive and got out my air rifle and a knife and stood up to them through my bedroom window. Police turned up after they (the intruders) reported me and that led to my first arrest. Now wtf!?

Have been brutally treated by them for no reason, acused of selling drugs, possetion of knives and all sorts. Have never been treated with much respect by them ( and im not the sort of person to be uncivil to someone for no reason) so yeah, this is why imo they are wankers.

Maybe if i looked like a twat (sorry *prettyboy) in hollister and jack wills bullshit, they would treat me differently. But airmaxes and adidas/nike/mckenzie hoodies appear to make me a second class citizen.

They judge you and react on you with out understanding who you are, what you are and why you are. Should be doing there job properly, not harrasing people when there are rapists peadophiles and murderes out there.

Only one of my mates has crashed, all of us being under 21 (young), and it wasn't his fault. IMO, older drivers such as 60+ are more of a danger on the road than a 'young chav',as you put it.

Back on topic, in neither of the 4 cars i've owned, including two saxo's, have I been pulled over by the cops, been searched for drugs in the car but that's for a different reason, and I still think that most of them are wasting their time, and should all be like Sherlock Holmes and solving crimes.

That's your opinion, statistics are fact.

You may think they are more of a danger but statistics prove otherwise.

My insurance is dirt cheap on the VTS......partly because I am 24 but primarily because I have 4 years NCB. I have proved I am less of a risk by building it up.

All of those except C due to them judging me on my appearence before i even speak with them.

I tell them what they need to hear, yes im insured, yes my cars roadworthy, yes i have a licence, bye.

I get really defensive over young drivers, the ones that constantly act like pricks get what they deserve. But for people like me and many others I know, who drive sensibly and only have fun when safe to do so, I stand up for.

So this statistic of yours, is it due to there being more young drivers than 60+?

There probably is, but you dont live the same life i do, so maybe your not completly correct in that statement.

It's not my statistic, it's the statistics.

Insurance is calculated on risk, which is calculated from statistics.

Unless the insurance company can see into the future and work out that you are never going to claim for the next 50+ years of your driving career, the only close thing they can base your premium on is statistics of the people like you (i.e young and male in a Saxo) for the past X amount of years......it's so simple.

Sounds like you've not always had great relationships with the Police, so I understand you have a negative vibe for them, but why hold grudges?
