Too Late! :p Id love to do something crazy like this (Some might tell you i already do)

But as far as engines concerned ill be happy with a VTS engine in mine (plus a few extras of course)

Ultimately i would have loved a Hyabusa Turbo engine in the rear- Z Cars do it

Japman 5th April 2007 12:01

Hope it works out mate, its going to be awsome if it does

SNewham 5th April 2007 12:06

looks awesome mate. How are you going to arrange the interior? as there's got to be a fairly large transmission tunnel running through the centre of the car and there isn't too much space inside a saxo...

funkmaster-fresh 5th April 2007 12:16

wow!
uve got some balls at attempt somethin like this, theres some amount of work in that! Good luck with it! :)

Danr 5th April 2007 12:17

Looking like a good project, have you spoken to the guy who has the rear wheel drive, turbo 106. He might be able to help if you have any problems. Don't think he's on here but i've seen him on other sites!

i havent got a clue what i am going to do with the interior.ill see what it looks like when its finished. i was thinking because ill need a custom carpet just buy some speaker box cover and spray glue it to the floor. lol i no its a naff idea but it will be cheap. until i can get one made or something i havent really tought about it yet. i used to work making custom speaker boxes so i sould be able to make a good job of it. or cut the carpet to the tunnel and then just trim the tunnel. anyone got any ideas?

bulkhead was a b****** to cut 3 layers of metal

oadamo 6th April 2007 18:29

can you spot the DIFFerance. this is a mock up of what it will look like when its fitted propely ive just gotta make some plates up to make it stronger and make the front brackets. i got the complete back end off a cosworth for £50 the diff has a lsd :P

KamRacing 6th April 2007 18:43

nice one..

Just a quick note thought to make sure you are considering the final ride height before setting the mounts to make sure that the suspension geometry will be maintained at your desired height. This will be critical if you want it to handle.

Nice progress mate, keep us updated.

oadamo 7th April 2007 21:08

heres a quick mock up of the rear arms ive gotta make the brackets to get it all on. iam gonna use the standard sierra arms to make things easy for now
later i will make some alloy ones at work.ill have to cut the drive shafts down. ive been told its possible to sleve them but if not ill get them done at willenhall driveshafts.

Interesting thread, and good to see someone doing things after they've thrown the book out of the window!

Good choice of box as well. The escort RS2000 4x4 I used to have had the MT75 and they are bulletproof! Good choice for big power.

Keep the updates coming!:y:

oadamo 7th April 2007 22:28

thanks all hopefully it will all go on. ill get it all done then fine tune all the probs afterwards.
theres only one way how to drive this after its done sideways.
adam

funkmaster-fresh 8th April 2007 11:03
