No date set really yet.

Josh and awright rekon we can have it in and running by Trax if we work hard at it.

With the list though i cant see me having all that done before then, id be surprised, mainly due to cost, i dont want to put myself out of my depth or leave myself too short.

However i would love to finally have my car exactly how i want it, get all the spending out of the way and then start to save more money towards the future i.e a House :)

we'll see how it goes. :)

Luke 29th May 2007 20:39

I'm sure you will get it sorted before Trax mate.

BENSAX3 29th May 2007 20:49

That all sounds so familiar. Itll be worth it though :)

jpsaxo 30th May 2007 08:58

*Yawns*

My car is officially a cunt :) Lol!

More work on it tonight,

That PM was a monster wasnt it, hopefully given you a decent idea of your options anyway, made the decisions even harder? maybe! Lol!

Like i said to you before mate, best bet is to get a budget and then work around that, and make sure we leave a fair bit for all the bits and bobs which all add up over time trust me :)

Your rad will be with us soon bud :)

Aron 30th May 2007 09:00

Bloody hell you did have a good shopping list didnt you jpsaxo.lol

Yates 30th May 2007 09:04

quaife its around 570 for the diff, then you would need to get it put in the gear box, take the citroen one out, that may cost a bit, you could get it done on the s box when you get one, im just waiting for my tax back for one

jpsaxo 30th May 2007 09:12

Might as well get a new gear set put it while your getting the diff put in, if you have the cash that is. There also slightly stronger than the original items according to form :)

I know a few people were on about getting a qualife soon, with 5people you get 10% off, with 10people 15% off etc etc, so quite good discounts.

George on SSC is on about setting up a group buy later on this summer according to form :)

willsy 30th May 2007 12:55

All sounds good to me.

Think the best bet is to write out a list of everything we can think of, then look on the net for the parts and approx price, see how much it all comes to and then go from there.

If the price is too huge then we can look at alternatives from there.

:) Cant wait to have a bit of power though

willsy 17th June 2007 12:43

Here's the proposed list of parts etc before fittings complete

The expensive bits:

Procomp
KMS ECU with wideband/display
Remap
708 Cams and followers
Manifold (still looking at options) heatwrapped
BTB exhaust

Bits and bobs

VTS gearbox (may/may not look at LSD)
Head Skimmed
Water Pump
82degree thermostat
Return fuel hose
Alternator belt
Powerflex lower engine mount
Baffled sump
Cambelt
Thrust bearings
Big end and main bearings
Headbolts
Head gasket
Bottom end seal kit
Catch tank
Twin fan unit
larger injectors
Radiator
VTS fuel pump
3.5 VTR FPR (forgotted what this actually is, josh will shed some light)
Purflex oil filter
Port and Polished Throttle body

Then on top of all this of course the engine bay will be fully restored whilst the old parts are out.

A few other parts will be bought new to tidy things up such as new oil cap, dip stick blah blah etc

Skorpion 17th June 2007 12:47

Just a little list then matt! lol! Should be immense when it fitted! Finally give those brakes some worthy to stop!

rushy_23 17th June 2007 13:24

Definatly not going to be the car it once was lol!
