Adam_Q 9th November 2008 12:34

This has to be one of the best Mauritius saxo's on saxp! Just love how it sits, but looks impractical as fook lol!

Keep up the good one man!

CHIP 9th November 2008 14:04

Lol, cheers pal. I'll admit, it is a tad impractical. But i love it lol

Also had some small updates lately, but I'll post them next month as theirs going to be a big update next month :)

Liam-westcoast 9th November 2008 14:07

i agree that it is one of the best mauritius blue saxos on here

si_pow 9th November 2008 14:26

Bumper strips look the bizz mate! Really like it, just a little low at the back for my liking :)

Rogz 9th November 2008 14:33

Actually in that photo its because rear radius arm bearing has gone. Soon to be fixed, when i get paid lol.

ad_182_uk 9th November 2008 16:45

extremley awesome vehicle, nice and local in mansfield too.

CHIP 9th November 2008 17:02

Lol yes appears I am local. Dont seem to be many Sax-P meets around here does there? Mind you weathers cack lately, rather wait for better weather lol. I've had some ideas anyway about what way to take the Saxo and it is quite different. But if i do it, it will be next year. So keep an eye out lol.

Anthony 9th November 2008 19:14

Looks really nice mate, same alloys as mine near enough. Keep up the good work!

yer weather is a shocker, i see a few saxos but duno if they are part of the website cus they aint got stickers, but neither as mine i spose lol. plans sound rather top secret!!!!!!

CHIP 9th November 2008 21:03

Lol, they're not top secret as such. I just dont want someone to beat me to it, incase i do it lol. Something I personally havent seen before. Anyway, like I say, its money depending... But sometimes I ignore that & do it anyway lol.

adamf0707 16th November 2008 12:56

very nice car mate

Sammy-Boy 16th November 2008 12:58

Slammed FTW!! Love it mate :D

5AMBO 16th November 2008 13:19

love your car mate!! I have always liked this colour and yours is an amazing example! Nice to see a slammed saxo, thats the way they should be

Psycho18 16th November 2008 13:30

love it mate, styled very similar to mine. same colour, same rear lights, black rims with polished lip. How the fuck you get it that shiny? the picture is unbelievable!

Saxo_Scott 16th November 2008 13:33

Love that pic adz posted up that looks pure sex

And no rubbing issues? Looks clean and tidy even though it maybe a little impractical!

CHIP 16th November 2008 13:55

Should see it today. Bloody hell its shiny, even suprised me lol. Hopefully going for a photoshoot with mates later, so if i do i'll post pictures.

And it should be all french cars too i think lol

adamf0707 17th November 2008 13:44

syvtr 17th November 2008 14:11

Looks mint in that pic Posted. I need to clean mine some day this month looking very errrmmm filthy lets say.

As i know chip on a personal level ; ) i have to say he has no life and spends every minute he can spare cleaning his car.

hahah quality. you should probably look in to gettin its camber done... or cant it be done on a torsion bar? (im a camber virgin!)

haha, i spotted it:p
I actually polished it twice this weekend. Did it Saturday and then Sunday i woke up & thought 'i can do better than that' lol.

Dont believe camber can be done on a Saxo :n:

Also... shock, shock... i think the torsion bar may be coming up. I LOVE the car being so low, but the car isnt liking it tbf. So im thinking raise it up one notch, still get coilovers to sit nice on front, and 50profile tyres for Wolfrace rims to fill arches abit more.

Shellz 17th November 2008 19:58

Veryy nice!! :D :D

maxo 17th November 2008 20:02

nice keep up the work :)

CHIP 17th November 2008 20:03

Anyone got any views on raising the torsion bar? Would be interesting to know people's opinions.

i would leave it as it is tbh mate, your car looks awsome, i want mine too sit like this, think i will be lowering it more at the week end :P

How low is it at the front and at the back mate ?

CHIP 17th November 2008 20:37

Well its 60mm on the front (for now) and the back is just to the bumpstops. I always used to say it was 90mm but my mate reckons theirs something like 160mm travel on the rear suspension, so he says its lowered 160mm. Either way it cant go any further. Its just the fact that one day i reckon the chassis will say no... and its been this low for nearly 2 years now.

oww right, erm nah i think you will proberly be right with the 90mm, don't think you can get them 160mm tbh lol, love the way yours sits though, looks mint,

and you say yours is 60mm on the front ( for now ), whats the plans ;)

VtrIrl 17th November 2008 20:55

Looking well man Where u get the discs on the back??

CHIP 17th November 2008 20:56

Just been looking at yours lol. Are they 50 profile tyres on yours? If so, i dont believe you would get much lower without going to 45s to be honest. Mine is so close you wouldnt believe it (i mean CLOSE) but it never scrapes.

Plan on coilovers for the front, no matter what i do. The front will definetely go lower lol.

Your car looks smart though dude.

mine are 195/45/15's mate, and the archs have all been took out so you can fit 17" rims on it with out the scrapping :y:

LukusCrossan 17th November 2008 21:51

keep it slammed for definite bud

raiya 17th November 2008 23:24

should level the rear with the front dude, i know it looks cool but you know for a fact it would be better raised a bit

GroomGTI 18th November 2008 00:35

Mines down as low as yours on vtr rims looks the nuts dont raise it, leave it!
