RIP Pal.... Truely shocking and things can happen so fast! Wrong place at the wrong time i guess!

I have a idea regarding FCS parade lap in memory, will PM mod now!!

Pieface 17th February 2010 23:21

Well, don't you get that Club Lap of Honour around the track due to being Club of the Year or something? You could dedicate that to him, as you will be the only guys on the track.

Only met you once Gavvers, but you've always been a right laugh and a decent lad. Always had a lot of time for you... Can't believe it... RIP mate.

leeroybrown 17th February 2010 23:32

Finally got through to Gav's mate Matthew.

Its seems Gav was going to look at a Rallye with 2 of his mates. He went out with the owner to test drive the car as a passenger, some how the passenger has lost control and hit a parked car directly on Gav's side. The impact that intense its talking Gav's life instantly. The driver has only recently passed away.

lemon191 17th February 2010 23:36

RIP such a shame at a young age

Eskimo 17th February 2010 23:38

Thoughts go out to family and friends.

Saxo-Will 18th February 2010 00:12

RIP GAV, had a bit of banter on here and loved reading you're witty comments. Will be sorely missed

chris205 18th February 2010 00:22

R.I.P

Had a look elsewhere and appears this is the rallye he went to look at, sounds like it had a broken rear shock which may have somewhat lead to the incident :(
