Shit the bed, that's nasty. It's annoying that the paper doesn't mention who was in the wrong... i know they can't like but with picture's of your car people will just go 'ooh, chavved up Saxo, bet he was racing'. Not to say it's chavved up, but you know the usual thoughts from people.

Right havent been on for a while, Little update on my progress atm. The claim is still ongoing, my knee and ankle is more or less back to normal and im currently 3 sesions into my 2nd course of physio. Ive had medical evaluations, mountains of paperwork and im still none the wiser of how much or when i get a payout..but im in no rush tbh, it takes as long as it takes.

I believe the woman was charged with dangerous driving but unfortunately had the option of taking points and a fine, or a driving course :/

When i got back driving, i wanted to get straight back into it, so bought this and stuck some borbets on it :)




But have now declared it off the road and is for sale.

Still keen on the TT although an S3 keeps coming into the picture! Miss my old vtr like mad though...would definitely get another saxo (after driving a megane 1.9 and 2.0TD astra for the last few months) Maybe when i sell the TT/S3 for drinking petrol!

Thanks, the white one is off the road until i get back from Tenerife early Sept but i have lots of plans for it :) Yeah unfortunately the punishment from the Law was a fucking disgrace..think she took a driving course. Dont worry, next time she wants to insure her car there will be a massive payout on her record, but whether that makes her think twice about overtaking blind doing 60+, god knows!

Yeah back to normal now :) i miss the 2tone, i put so much time and effort into it, was heartbreaking seeing it unrecognisable :( But, its only a car i spose. Just lucky im here to buy another one!

Just as an update for anyone that knows me, I only just settled the claim! Received the cheque yesterday ... only 2 and a half years later! Now got rid of the white saxo, and bought an Audi S3, but will still be on the site now and again :)

Glad it finally got settled mate. Shame about your old car, looked nice :(
